So yesterday I went to Croft race circuit to photograph the 'Jack Frost Rally'.

Even though it's a rally, it's all tarmac based.

I've never done anything like this so it was a huge learning curve but great fun (if a little wet and cold). I really wanted to get some panning shots, which are much easier said than done but I found a sweet spot using a shutter speed of 1/60.

I used my 5Dmk3 and 400 f/2.8

It's funny, that one got the best reaction on my FB page

Thats because its awesome mate... my favourite car in the world (I had two Mk2's back in the day, both modded to look much like this one running 150hp) and compositionally perfect... jealous much ;)

...and not just of your 400mm f2.8 either lol, I have a 100-400L MkII I use for motorsport...
