[Jan 15, 2017] New Ipswich Audi Meet (Crane Boulevard, Futura Park)

I would like to Thank the Marriott Motor Group for inviting members of audi-sport.net along for a meet, greet and Drive meeting at the New Ipswich Audi Dealership. Special thanks go to Mark Dockerill (Head of Business) Jason Baker and Tony Moore.
The meet will start at 10am with a tour of the workshop with a Master Tech. They will have an R8 up on the ramps for you to have a look at and the Master Tech will answer any question you may have. You will then have refreshments and move onto the Dedicated Sports area, where the S and RS Models be on display, including the Red R8 Spyder and the all new TTRS. You will be able to go to the Private Lounge area where you can configure cars on the ipad, which is then projected on to the large screens. There is a dedicated children's area for those members that are bringing the family along, they have toys, tv and playstation.

There will be cars available to drive. These will be confirmed on the 10th January as they change the cars after the Christmas and New Year Holidays.

Driving requirements

Licence must be provided. Due to changes in the law about the counterpart of photo licence you must have your National Insurance Number with you on the day as this is required to be checked on the DVLA site on the day.

Drivers must be 25 years of age have no more than 6 points on their licence and not had a motoring ban in the last 3 years, and held your Licence for at least a year. Provisions will be made for those members under 25 there will be a range of cars to choose from.

The RS models that are not confirmed yet will be available for test drives and the driving requirements for this are you must be 30 years old and have no more than 6 points and not had a motoring ban in the last 3 years.

Please remember these are expensive cars and when driving them, Please drive carefully and safely.

Please confirm your attendance by 10th January.

Your point of contact when you arrive at the dealership is Tony Moore
The meet starts at 10.30 but can you all be there at least 15 minutes before that as we have a busy schedule.
You will be provided with Tea/Coffee. The workshop tour with a Master tech who will have an R8 up on one of the ramps for you to have a look over as well as the rest of the workshop. You will then get a full tour of the dealership and Brunch.
The staff at the dealership will have a spreadsheet with all the cars available to drive. So you can book particular cars, you can drive all the cars available as long as you meet the licence requirements.
