Dear Audi forumers,

How to know does exact car has sport exhaust or not? I red Audi rs6 bulletin and it sais "OP6 Sport exhaust. Oval shaped, high gloss black dual-exhaust pipes which further enhance the engine sound"

Does that mean that all cars who's exhaust is blacked they have Audi sport exhaust?

As I understand cars who have chrome exhaust they dont have Audi sport exhaust?

In short. Yes! I took delivery of a brand new ra6 8 weeks ago and had that same dilemma when ordering over the net from a broker. Description didn't sound right but it is. And OMG, the best £1000 extra. Do no buy a RS6 without one!!!!

Black pipes = Sports exhaust.
Silver = normal.

You can buy black pipes from Audi accessories I believe and vice versa, so best way is to check car details with any Audi dealership.

Thanks for answering I think best is too look in vin number if this code is included 0P6 then you can be sure that you have Audi sport exhaust system

hello, just wondering my car has 0P6 Audi sport exhaust system as optional tail pipes are blacked and my vin number said that it's included as I bought used car, I am also wondering those mufflers are all in black or only those who are with sport exhaust system has black? Maybe those who have rs6 with Audi sport exhaust system can say something what kind of mufflers you have?

P.s what makes sport exhaust differ from normal exhaust some kind of technology?

£165 plus vat each! From Audi for new tail tips. And no uk stock come from Germany...I have the black tail tips on mine but I prefer the look of the silver tips! With the black tips on black car it doesn't stand out so much intact they look to blended into the bumber for me.....if anyone wants to swap there sikver for my blacklet me know.

My gf's rs3 8v has silver tips and it's a sports exhaust! Maybe they don't do black ones for the rs3 hence mine arnt black.

Thanks for answering, if you have rs6 please look beneath the car do those big mufflers I posted here are black? Don't look any tail pipes but for mufflers beneath your car

No problems, maybe you had before sport exhaust or you don't remember how it looked beneath the car?

By the way how to know and what kind of difference is between normal rs6 exhaust and sport exhaust?
