EGR Oil Leak

I have a 1.9 tdi, and there is oil leaking from the side holes of the EGR valve, and also the at the bottom junction. Does anyone have any experience with this problem, and what I need to do to stop it please?

its a 52 plate 2003

Perfect , no eml from egr disable .

Pull and plug the egr vac line .

Clean and plug the two atmospheric egr holes .

My erg is lot worse than that covered in oil. I think I need a new one, mine is an 05 plate so I guess I can just blank it off.

05 gives you an eml , needs remapping .

I thought it would. I might just get hold of a second hand one. There butter fly valve is missing off mine and leaks oil alot.

Why is the anti shudder missing ?

Don't know was like that when I got it.

Had the inlet manifold off to check it wasn't stuck in there. Wasn't clogged up which is good, but leaking oil quite a load from the egr
