Hi all,

Clutch on my S3 needs replaced, along with my turbo, sourced a turbo but need to get a clutch kit sorted out.

Had intended going Sachs uprated organic, but with everything else being done, financially it's not viable.

So where's the best place to get standard clutch kit? and is it possible to fit a facelift clutch as I'm told they last longer?

Cheers all,

Scott

I know it's alot £560 for sachs clutch kit with no DM flywheel and £800-850 with DM flywheel but if planning to go stage 1 or above will be needed.
And don't want to have to pay the labour twice if do want to upgrade later.

Just need to search website and see what deals are running, euro car parts will do it and they are also on ebay and cheaper on there sometimes. If you have a garage you use can ask them to price it up so the full thing is warrantied.

Cheers mate, yeah £860 for the sachs unit all in, going to price standard against it and see if there is much of a saving. In all honesty I don't see myself going past Stage 1 if that.

I'll check out euro car parts, hopefully they've another end of month 20% off!

I don't know if you had the friction plate on your list..
I actually saw amazon had the Sachs friction plate and pressure plate, don't know if they still have them.
Here is the part number I have:
Organic plate 881864 999502
Pressure plate 883082 001394
Slave cylinder 3182 600197
DM flywheel 415033110

Cheer mate, checked the flywheel out, will hopefully be able to order parts tomorrow. Cars booked in for the work next week.

So you going upgraded route then?
How much you been quoted for the fitting?
Still need to get mine done.

For now just going the standard route, been quoted £290.00 all in if I supply all the parts. Which is ridiculously cheap! £800.00 was the next cheapest.

Once I get a list of parts out together I'll post it up.
