Looks like the rear diffuser remains silver rather than gloss black when looking at the configurator. Hope that's an error....

Why o why did I look at this thread. Spent the last 20 mins playing about with engines and spec. It would be a 150tdi for me though. As done 59k in 2 1/2 years so far and it would make no sense to run an s3. Fancied a bigger ps. However 182 only available in Quattro. If Ara were available on s-line I would go for it night and day over my current glacier and previous black A3 black edition. It will probably only be on a s3 though know doubt.

If you take the US configurator, the S3 rear diffuser with black optics is gloss black.
The rear diffuser on the Face lift S3 Saloon looks gash no matter what colour it becomes
Was in to local dealer today getting quote. No movement on the on the road price. Where as I got 10% off the last one 2 1/2 yrs ago. Salesman could not find Ara blue or notes about it on system even for the s3. ( I was not looking for s3 but asked). Will have to keep looking
No discount?!?! Guys surely delusional. Jump on carwow or orangesheels and use that as leverage as I'm sure you know. When I questioned the price with the business manager. He quoted it's a new model, so no discount. To pay for the big new shinny showroom in Aberdeen, they will need to pull a finger out of there "insert whatever you fancy" to get a sale off of me now.
Really, surely another month or two and they'll be closer to 10 I'd be hoping. As 7% is nowt at all with the S3 black edition. Can spec this car easily up to a smidge over 40k.
Was emailing lad at Stirling and going in to see him December about the black edition as too early to do anything now given I want Marxh delivery. Kinda a sideways move from the R but nothing takes my fancy at all.

Got mine using Carfile. Excellent discount, straightforward and stress free as long as you're ok to pick up from Audi Coventry. Would definitely recommend.

What I'd like to know is why do Audi Coventry consistently offer the best deals?? (I mean I know it's a bit of a dump but so are lots of places in the UK!! lol)
The orders go via the fleet manager but all dealerships have a fleet manager (I think) so no idea why but interesting question nonetheless!

Bringing the thread back to BE, sister specd the same wheels, privacy glass etc as BE and worked it her car would've only cost £50 more had a BE been available!!

I've called the dealer today to spec mine up to the black edition, I'd already opted for b&o and privacy glass so not too much difference price wise. Configurator pics don't really do it justice. Can't wait to see one in the flesh, I've gambled on the alloys but always liked the old rotor design so fingers crossed they're similar
I'm a massive fan of the clover leaf style alloys you can get as 19s, but the addition of mag ride makes it so expensive (yes I know everyone will say mag ride is a must...).
Was worried about those wheels from the config but they look decent on that pic. Nice update from the rotors.
