S line suspension height help!!

Oh the wonders of not knowing anything about cars ey lol

Yes I've been looking at the pro kit for ages but the thing is I need to buy shocks too because my cars on 130,000 and don't wanna be doing the springs then shocks few months down the line. But I also know a few people on here who are on standard se shocks with the pro kit so I'm confused :/
Don't be confused.

Pro-kit springs and Bilstein B4 for pure comfort or B8 for stiffer damper more focussed on handling.

Job done.

That's why I've not got it done yet, been waiting for the right time to buy everything together so can change it all at once. Thanks Sayam

A6 Avant 2.7 Quattro S Line Sport Suspension

Hi there,

I have an 55 plate (C6) A6 Avant 2.7 Quattro S Line Sport... Thought I would upgrade the front shock absorbers as car has now done 138K & don't plan to get rid of it any time soon... Ordered new OE parts from Audi (4F0413031AJ) & surprised to see that they are black not the original red, work was carried out by an experienced & qualified tech... but for some reason car now riding very high in the front... see photos.. about to upgrade the rear shocks as well but need to sort out the front end first.... went to Audi & located the parts via the vehicle vin number & they are supposed to match...
Can anyone help or advise???
Thank you...

Have you got the old springs? If so the colour markings on them should be the same as in your picture it looks like there are 4 blue markings in the picture, If they're different then you've got the wrong springs.
Who actually ordered the springs and were they actually from the Audi dealer?
It could just be that your old ones were worn with so much use if they were the original ones so the new ones would be a lot stiffer so would sit higher with being new

Thanks for replying,
The original springs are still on the vehicle... only parts changed are the shock absorbers from original red to black...
Confused as hell.... are there ways to set the ride height?

I've the same issue with my a4 s line, it sits very high at the frontScreenshot 20210827 013324 Google
Problem is I bought the car like this so have no old spring to compare what came out. I have a feeling a previous owner has changed the front springs and have just got the se ones too. I was sitting beside another black s line yesterday and there was a significant difference I our arch gaps at the front but the rear was the same. I am thinking of just going for the eibach Pro kit but worried in case it will only drop the front by 10mm from how it is now cause then I would want the sportline kit lol

Looks normal to me.

edit. Enlarged the pic. No it doesn’t.
