Has anyone updated their phone to iOS 10 and checked if everything still works with the MMI?

I've been on it for a while and everything still works for me.

Yep like N3uR0 over the last few months or so, I've been running several stages of the Beta iOS10 and now the GM, Golden Master final release, works perfectly for me via MMI, CarPlay and Siri etc all fine.

Excellent, I shall update! Also you're brave running those betas, ran them previously on older dev devices and found them pretty unusable

Unlike previous versions I found the Public Beta for previous iOS9 and iOS10 very stable, but like you say some previous iOS Betas were patchy at best.

Helps if you have more than one device to run on but wouldn't recommend running Beta OS to everyone, I've owned and worked on Apple Mac computers since 1990 so am well versed by now on Beta software testing.

Main thing with an iPhone is to ensure you do a physical back up and transfer purchases to a computer prior to updating, as for the MMI as before I've had no noticeable issues running iOS10 compared to iOS9.

Updated mine last night and was delighted to find the new "home" button on the MMI- very simple, but makes It even more user friendly than before.

Having updated, the only issue I've come across is that music would randomly paused when streaming via bluetooth

Can you elaborate / post a screenshot? I think this was a frustration of mine when I was test driving as I often got "lost" with no way to get to CarPlay home screen.

Not my screenshot- found it on Twitter.

You're right, it was frustrating to get "out" when deep in iTunes etc.

Now a simple flick to the right and you're home.

I'm sure holding down the 'Back' button (next to the MMI wheel) when in CarPlay mode will take you back to the CarPlay home screen
