I am struggling to grasp the concept that the pub has been took over and new regulars have settled in.
It's like there is a housing estate getting built and the pub is full of builders Wolf whistling all the local ladies and stealing our seats.....

Whats peoples opinions on the BBC using vans to catch people watching iPlayer over wifi without paying the fee?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/05/bbc-to-deploy-detection-vans-to-snoop-on-internet-users/
If people have a laptop and plug in via ethernet then wifi sniffing is redundant as no signals get transmitted.

ether what!!!!!!!
Seriously isn't it illegal to snoop on someone else's WiFi signal
The whole concept of collecting fees via TV licencing is antiquated and a waste of money in itself. The BBC needs a simpler and easier way of being funded.......add the TV license fee to council tax..simples

Dont add it to Council tax.

I don't pay for a TV license now and I have no intention to ever paying.

I never watch BBC or TV as whole.

But you own a TV I assume so you don't have a choice, whether you watch BBC or not, it is a criminal offence akin to fraud

I don't use the local library but I pay my part of its upkeep, I have only visited the Dr once in the last 10 years but I don't ask for a NI contributions refund. I have never claimed a penny of benefits in 37 years of working but don't ask for a tax rebate.

£12 a month is hardly a lot of money for someone who drives an A8..maybe tax avoidance of all kinds is how you manged to afford one in the first place

Don't legally have to have a TV license if you don't watch live TV.

I phoned the licensing agency up and said I don't want go pay, I don't watch TV.
They said OK, sent someone over and checked my TV, which is connected to the console.
Walked away and every two years I got to up date them in my current TV use.

Simple.

That's great then, I am sure you are a trustworthy chap and the money you saved gets you all of 30 miles further up the road every month...
