Thinking About Changing To A TTS - Colour Thoughts?

I had this dilemma with the TTS. I was going with glacier or ibis white, defo not sepang as I don't like it on the new shape TTS at all. But I keep buying white cars and maybe it is time for a change? I love the yellow, but only on other people's cars, not mine. If that makes sense?! Dayton Grey? Maybe, but nano grey looks better to my eyes. Tango red? My S3 is red, so I want something different on my TTS... then I saw a TTS in silver parked up and I was quite taken with it. So, after much thought, I ordered my new TTS in florent silver. It's arriving in a couple of weeks time.
The problem with the TTS is the front Grill,it does'nt suit certain colours,the S-line front grill does with the black optics,they should release a BSP for the TTS
Best combo l have seen so far that is, is either Mythos with 20"s or Glacier with 20"s

Spec the fancy seats for sure! **** knows why they didn't turn up in the RS3

Tango is a bit on the Dark side..pardon the pun,but still a decent colour my son has this as his new demo

BH, I'm in similar boat to you but my s3 would still be a big hit at the minute on a PX.
Had mine just over a year and a half so might keep it for another year. I really want the TTRS but not sure I can stretch that far!

@j0nny2013 - If I had the pennies for a new mk3 TTRS, yes, but unfortunately I haven't hence a new mk3 TTS

TTS is a stunning car
agree on the alloys too - as much as I really like the look of the 20's, the cleaning of them would drive me mad, especially the inside barrels.

@Bristle Hound would the numbers not stack up for an RS3??? According to a few in that section there are still unregistered cars kicking about. Tempting?????

Have to say I'd go RS3 every time. I like the TT but...............the RS3 just screams drive me, the TT screams, well, poodle along in me. 
yeah I'm pretty much the same. My heart says TTRS but brain knows thats probably not going to happen.
I'm tempted by TTS, you should defo go for it with that discount.

also I'm sick of rotor alloys, every model has them and don't find them special anymore.
RS3 is a great sounding car no doubt, I would choose the RS3 saloon over hatchback. My opinion of course
Both cars have their strengths and both are superb cars for different reasons.
The build quality of the TT's is fantastic IMO and they look super cool inside & out and balance price v performance extremely well.
The RS3 is an ultra practical smoking hot quality hatch with insane speed and a glorious soundtrack
I would be happy with either car being totally honest, but the sound really is a HUGE part of the RS3.

After I've finished with a TTS, if I have enough pennies and they start discounting the RS3 maybe I could 'scratch the 8V RS3 itch' after the TTS
Practicality isn't an issue for me on my car anyway. The wife's car is another matter ...

That is a very fair & accurate review mate.
I've driven a TTS on 20's and the ride is VERY firm .... so yeah it's corner like its on rails lol
19's are tolerable though 100% and you don't want a wallowy ride do ya
Looks awesome in sepang too.

I thought that with my S1 but there a quite a few. Should have gone with Viper Green lolI would choose Vegas! You won't see another one on the road, white and sepang will be the popular choices I'm guessing, although do you want to be Mr. Happy on the road?

Sepang Blue for me, and I would go for the 20" rims....just love the look of them! I don't think Vegas suits the TT shape for some reason.
With the new TTRS on the horizon, I just couldn't look past this. I know the money side of it is an issue, but it will look amazing. Just think about the mk2 TTS against the TTRS.

I am big fan of Sepang Blue but the TTS doesn't suit the colour at all,floret silver, Daytona Grey, glacier white..... Are the best non exclusive paints to go with

I actually agree with your comments, but I think the best colour for the TT is Mythos Black....looks real classy. But out of the colours mentioned, then Sepang gets the nod.
