RS3 for me because the S6 is too big (for me) and will depreciate quicker.

Exercise can be enjoyable. This is just painful!

And the best exercise I've to do, well my wife had to do it for me.....(@jassyo06 not what you think!) to bend my big toe back and forward on my right foot as I can't feel it. It's getting too "stiff" so has to be mobilised! :wtf::readit:

I would get the rs3 for resale value, in 2 years time that s6 will be worth 10k less than the rs3

£50k for a base model and. A couple bits and bobs......Porsche Macan Diesel S, might have to wait a year to get one new but pretty much guaranteed to only drop 10-20% 2 years down the line if you look after it and keep the mileage around 10k per annum.......thinking about a first serious test drive at the end of the summer

Well over £50k for a decent spec, with zero discounts, not even 1p, that's pence not %.
I looked and was seriously tempted but to get the same spec with 40bhp less than the SQ5 plus I would have had to shell out almost another £10K.
I really fancied one but just couldn't stand the thought of not getting a discount, OTR was £60K, 0% off, really, I'm Scottish ***!!!

Not to gloat but it does look like I had a narrow escape, they do seem to be having 'teething' problems:readit:.

Maybe next time, when they're not quite so up themselves!

Slowly but surely. Surgeon won't even test my mobility till 7-8 months of healing. So October will be the point when he says yea or nae.
Did you get my PM about the wife's mini?
PS how's the knee doing?

Why anyone would want to buy one at any price is beyond me. IMHO its fugly. First time I saw one was at a shopping centre event, and from the rear I thought that's ugly must be a Dacia and that was before I had even seen the front of the display stand and the Jaguar branding.

All the premium mid sized SUV all look the same these days...SQ5, X3, Evoque, Jag F Pace

Far better off with any base model Macan, might be a little bit smaller, and if you can bear the wait time and stomach zero discount as at least you would be getting a car that is a a little bit disitncitve with a real pedigree

F-type does look good , is one in the works car park and is the only car in there I am even mildly jealous of. That said, whenever I see a middle aged man in a Jag I have images of 1970's soft porn movies and men with moustaches at parties where you put your key in the ashtray!!!!!

Yes saw your PM and thought I had replied, sorry, will reply again

Slowly and surely is the best way, got a friend who had a vertebra 2 and 3 replaced just over 2 years ago and they are still recovering as they had some serious complications from rushing back to quickly

Knee is doing great, cycled 25 miles at the weekend and even done a bit of hill climb with a couple of Columbian cyclists I bumped in to, 20 years younger than me, and they were pretty impressed a 50+ year old guy with only one good knee could keep pace

Well I think the F-Pace is a stunning car - the R-Sport which is kinda the S-Line of F-Paces, comes with enough extras and 4WD comes in around £37k (I think). Will be our family hack when we need a second car!

Well, IMHO, I think the SQ and Fpace look the part,:hubbahubba: I don't like the RR or any of the X range:puke2:. If comparing looks I'd say, for example, that the S3 looks more like a Mk1 Astra than an SQ looks like an Evoque :cheerful:
