So story goes - I never got the o rings they were supposed to have sent.
I ended up buying them locally for the DW kit (just the hose and o-rings). Installed the upgraded pump and. They prime a little louder than before. But not getting any noise symptoms while the car is running.
As a matter of fact. After driving for about 30km's. The car decided to die. What gives!!??!?
Was stranded for a bit waiting for tools and the old pump to see what's going on.
Did some diagnosing and testing.
Pump isn't priming any more after turning the key. After the car died for the first time it primed for about 3-4 times. Now. No action LOL
Checked fuse 28. Still in tact. Had spare relay # 167 and 53 to test.
None of those fixed the problem SO Back in with the OEM pump And I'm back on line. Fuel floweth aplenty!!!
So I write to them as soon as I get home. I hear nothing for a good week. When previous to this they had been very responsive. I sent another couple emails to a few other addresses from their website. Still nothing. So I thought. Hang on I paid with PayPal - opened up a PayPal dispute.
Finally get a response.
"Hello Ian,
Ian, We responded to you twice on August 11th after receiving this same message from you to
sales@highflowfuel.com on August 10th, with no response from you. I requested your contact phone number so we could create DHL shipment for you. That DHL shipment is packed up and will go out today. Do you want a refund, or do you want me to hand it to the DHL guy when he arrives? I have the AWB # ready for you...

Strange. As I've been getting all emails just fine (along with all SPAM) in the mailbox that I wrote them. Checked junk again just in case and nothing in there...
Anyway alongside this email I seem to have gotten a DHL tracking notification so its being actioned.
Finally I replied to the above stating send out the replacement pump. Their reply
"I double-checked and we definitely sent Your email two messages on August 11th. No worries though. A36HV fuel pump and o-rings shipped out today. You should see that in hopefully by the end of the week."
Sorry for the novel but I feel
1 - I need to let people know this product may not be all its made up to be
2 - a tad frustrated by the whole process
3 - logging will be useful (before and after) to see if parameters improve with the replacement
4 - i really hope the replacement lasts more than half an hour
