Orders in for ibis white S3 Stronic, replacing Golf R

put my order in for one on a 2 year lease, only options are hill hold and rear sensors, I currently have a golf R which I absolutely love! I've had a a fair few hot hatches in the past and this is by far better than any I hav ever had! Just hoping the S3 over upto it or at least comes close...

How do I get to track the order? I don't have any build numbers etc yet as only placed the order today.

Yeah my build week took ages but that was because of the PFL/FL stuff... Your dealer should be able to give you the order number to track it though straight away... not sure if they have already?

Thanks, it's ordered through a broker as its a lease, Audi couldn't come close! I will ask for order number I would of thought they can get this through the dealer too. It's been a while since I've been in an Audi and looking forward to it, I had a red/3 in 2010. White A4 in 2011 and another white S3 in 2012. I will however miss my golf R.. Hopefully that will soon be gone when I get the S3.

I am coming of a Golf R Deal, as far as I can see these are not really offered on the Audi S3?

Bit weird going from a golf r to an s3 which are effectively the same car with a few minor differences even after the a3 refresh. Thought you'd go for something different and wait for the updated rs3

I nipped into the BMW dealership in Chester as it's recently been through a massive renovation. The M235i did look rather nice and there was a good deal on it as well!!!

Never really thought it was strange choice, I know they are quite similar, but for the money both are cracking deals! The RS3 would I guess cost easily an extra £100-£150 a. Onto with a bigger deposit too... Did look at the 135/140 as it will be now, but always been a vw/Audi person just didn't feel right, don't get me wrong it's a lovely motor though!

Hope you're not disappointed. Have you driven one?
They are great cars, in some ways quite superior to a Golf R but fall short in other areas.

Nope not driven one, I've read all the reviews and just figured they can't be that bad all the time, can they? Surely it's when you are fully on it which tbf is only 5% of the time...
Should I be driving one? Really that bad compared to the R?
