All the dealership staff were off for the bank holiday so it couldn't be actioned until this morning and that was too late!

Well dealership contacted me today and said my car could be with them tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Thing is I have broken my foot so might have to get a cast on it tomorrow!!!! Typical!

I meant to add that the dealerships noticed that since I had moved since I signed the finance agreements, that it was now void and I would have to sign new agreements with my new address.

My new finance deal came it £5 cheaper and with FREE GAP and Tyre and alloy insurance!

So until I pick up the car on Tuesday (hopefully), I have a B9 2.0 TDi 190 Sport to run around in.

My car is on its way to the dealership at the moment, even though YourAudi and the API hasn't updated! Do NOT trust these people!

just ordered my A4 dealer said it would be a quick delivery, he said something about amending an existing order , should be here hopefully by august.

oh and he also said if I remove the rear badge (A4+TFSI) it would make the delivery quicker, I know its weird but apparently its true LOL

Handover went good.
I 'unveiled' the car and there it was all dirty and grimy. It looked great though.

All I managed to get free was a Audi iPhone charging cable.

I doesn't all day detailing it yesterday so not had a chance to post pics up but I will shortly.

Love the car, but a few things I can't get to work yet which is annoying!

Mine seems to have gone into production early, build week was next week. 2016-06-13. So far it is updating once a day to the next stage, so hopefully it will go through assembly today

Ordered last week, dealer said he would email me with a build date, anyone knows how long it would take the dealer to actually email me that info? :O

It can take a few weeks for the order to be accepted and then allocated the tracking number...
Just keep in touch with the dealer!

My tracker is now showing in Quality Control (but with a date of the 13th)
And there is an overall status of 30 but with no date.
So it's status maybe one of :
- waiting to start QC
- already in QC
- left the factory

It's all entertaining!

I tried entering the 8 digits of the order number on the audi website, but it says it couldn't find any match? does it take a while for it to be updated?

Yup. Even after getting the number from the dealer, I think it took 4/5 days to let me register it

Interestingly the VIN is showing on the code site from the tracker.
I have been able to add this to the my Audi site and I can now see various things on there...

Pretty cool as officially it hasn't actually left the factory yet!

Hi Spooky, any further updates on your car status?
We originally had same build date but you said it got brought forward 2-3 was. I only only got brought forward just the 1 week so now running behind you.

My current status is

10 05/05/16
20 14/06/16

Build week is 27th June but hoping it may be done earlier now

So this went and happened yesterday!

From months of no movement, to through every step in a couple of weeks!

Dealer has just confirmed that it has just landed in the UK, and should be available in the next 10 days for pickup..

Just trying to negotiate what to do with old motor, they have indicatively offered £300 less than the audi web site reckons..but to be honest no one is really going to want a car with 177,000 miles on it...so I may just cut my losses and ditch it to the dealer.
I suspect webuyanysh*t will knock so much off their offer I will end up paying them to take it .....

Can is ready for pickup on Wednesday apparently! Dealer was somewhat surprised when I told him to make sure it wasn't cleaned (other than a quick jetwash)....
will post pics once I get it!

for reference, this is the speed it went through the system, although it is showing Order status 60 apparently they know it will be here and ready by Wednesday.

Went into production on the 09/06. Pickup from dealer on the 29/06

Mine is in QC too - if it takes the same time as yours, should hopefully be looking at pickup sometime in the middle of July.

Mine has been on route to dealer on myaudi for almost two weeks.
What a terrible system.
They must be pushing it from Tyne to Edinburgh. Only been waiting since it was ordered on 10th February.
