Hi all
Thinking of remapping to Stg1 c.180bhp shortly, and it's inevitable the standard clutch will go.
Is it a sensible move to fit a 170 LUK DMF, pressure plate and cover, slave etc to the 140?
These parts seem reasonable on ECP especially when they have a 20-25% sale on (Haven't asked Mike as yet for a VAG take on these parts)
I'm not gonna do mad stuff like drag racing, launching etc, just midrange oomph in the 40-70 range?
Remapping - as the good guys are so far from me, Rick and Paul, it looks like Revo - very pricey at £480 but just down the road.
Anyone in the North London /Herts area have a great mobile mapper they can recommend?
140CR CBAB lump.
I'm keeping the DPF and the EGR has the reducer plate which seems to be OK thus far, keeping a good deal of the crap out of the induction area, but allowing some gases through to keep the ECU and DPF sweet.
Thanks
Rog
