Looks great - enjoy the addictive 5 cylinder noise and the lovely exhaust sound.

I am 24hrs in on mine now, and its just awesome!

Thank you :) not my first choice in colour but I'm growing to it :) ... The massive discount helped lol ...
My m235 sounded nice .. But omg this is something else .. Pops and Bangs don't think I could ever get fed up with it :)

Uzi your new car looks great. Enjoy.

Did your 235i have an auto box? If so would be interested to have your views on how it compares with the sTronic in your RS3?

I know Birmingham/Shirley Audi have one in Nogaro blue...

@Uzi enjoy your new car to the max. It's awesome:)

Yes I did have the auto box in the 235i I must say it is a fantastic gearbox and changes pretty quick and smoothly... But this stronic so far is even quicker and precise I need to carry on driving it and will update :)

Cheers but theres no way Id go into the £50s for one.......Especially with all the facelift / 400bhp rumours doing the rounds!

Long wait for maybe 400 plus the current one is almost that anyway!

I don't know why, but I still find myself getting up early and driving to the local shopping centre multi-storey car park in the morning..

Look forward to updates. The SO is not a fan of the VAG dual clutch but loves the BMW 8 speed in our current daily runners
As car decisions are joint I'm gathering evidence for the next car purchase.

I've had 3 M135's, 1 manual then another 2 with auto, I can't honestly say that I haven't noticed the Stronic being any quicker but it definitley has better noise inducing mapping. The BMW box really is a master piece as is that engine but the RS3 does take it a step further.

Enjoy the new car !

Your time

will come
Mate

Hopefully it will! I've been crossing everything since they shut down production hoping they will reopen the orders, even if it is for the pre-FL A3!!

Got my deposit down today anyway, so if one does arise I will have one.

The m235i engine and auto is indeed a special car, and I've glad I've owned one. The auto was quick and smooth I can't fault it. The engine was silky smooth and made brisk progress no matter what the gear you were in.
It was jerky when cold and had to often change up manually but that was a lil gripe. I don't think I would've changed after 7 months but one test drive of the RS3 and I was sold, with the imminent arrival of the m240i think residual are going to take a knock too.
Keep getting told I'm crazy and they rather have a diesel than a RS3 ....Am I missing something ??
But you know something the RS3 is a step up. Just everything from the build quality defo step up from the BMW.
As my brother said, the whole car says I mean business without shouting out too loud. But those that know this car will know it's means business.
Defo holds its own with its older siblings.
Such a special car feeling, the whole car is just awesome.
It's personal preference but I'm so happy with my decision.

I had a m135i for 14 months and had a go in a rs3 dropped it off a week later and settled down for the 8 month wait because as you say the rs3 feels special and focused something the m135i was not as good as it was
