That's a forced rotation DA. It's a half way house between a traditional DA and a normal rotary. If truly awesome.
On Audi paint you're there for half a lifetime with a DA as its so hard (generally). The flex FR DA easily cuts my machine time by two thirds. I love it. Highly recommended if you've previous DA experience. But like a rotary, you can damage the paint now.

If you've never used a machine before, get something like a g220 DA and you'll be golden. Takes a little longer but pretty hard to ****** something up!
Good luck. It becomes quite addictive!

Just got the car dry and the rain starts, then the sun!
Not sure how the car will look in the morning but I managed to tick all the boxes! (I think)
Reflection, beading and flake pop (see the various threads)

Missed so many superb reflection shots. @scotty76 the CarPro is working a treat. I've decided to hold on to my CquartzUK for my next new car. Just topping up usual protection with reload. Still works a treat on its lonesome!

The a4's a bit dirty in this pic but it was taken just before I part ex'd it for the a3.
I always say I don't want another black car but always choose one as they look great when clean.

Did a little work on my S3 the other day. :)

I don't have any specialist tools really like DA's etc so this was all done by hand using the Meguiars 3 stage crystal system. Firstly though I went over the car with a Lake Country Hydro-Tech hand pad with some Meguiars Scratch X2.0 to try to get rid of some blemishes.

Pictures below are all of my bonnet...

Pretty happy with that for a "hand job" on an 8 year old motor. Lol.:grinning:

Thanks Chrissy.
Not easy as the paint on the Audi seems pretty tough/thick, ...not like some of my previous cars which were Japanese so fairly thin paint it would seem in comparison.

I'd try using cotton wool buds with your polish/wax on.
Always going to be hard getting right in the corners but still that's what's worked for me in the past. ;)
