My brake calipers are looking tired lads, dull and dirty, and are in some great need of a bit of TLC. At the moment funds are tight so there won't be any replacement only paint. The question is, do I paint them a subtle red or yellow or keep them silver? I do like the yellow calipers but not sure about painted ones? What do you thing guys? If any one has painted theirs please post pics

Have a look in my thread. My cats blue so went with silver, looks 100x better.

Black Hammerite smooth ftw , lighter silver, red , blue , yellow etc just shows up the brake dust .

I think red always looks well. I will try to attach a pic of my painted red calipers.

As above, Black looks good, although i do like the lime green as the porsche 918 on a silver car.

Good shouts lads. See I've got the same wheels as gixer, the rs4 18"s, stock colour on a black 2.0T and the red looks sweet! Tooty fruity, I do like the lime green on the porsche but will look a bit loud on my car for me and as for the black" think they're tidy also but only with the s-line decal. Do I need a special kinda paint?

i wanted mine green like them but i did'nt dare do it, i think they would look ace with mine being black, went for silver though playing it safe.

thing is, i think coz i'm 40 this year i should have more sense than painting my calipers bright green, lol

i clearly dont though, ha ha

so if one is 50 and a bit then, does that mean painting calipers is a non starter all together then tony......lol
