Anyone could recommend a Blackvue type camera for my car? I bought the Blackvue 380g but really dissapointed with the resolution and pixelation.. Any one of you could recommend a full hd one..? I wouldt want to pay the £200 it cost the Blackvue 650hg..if possible

Well I was going to recommend that one...I have it and it's very good.

And much better with the cloud function.

I've just fitted the DR650- 1 channel - I'm liking it a lot.

Think I saw it for £170 cheapest but to get it quick I bought it from Amazon as I had a small window of opportunity to do the install (wife was away!).

That's not bad Rob but for 1 channel only seems big step.. Only thing I want is full HD and small to install behind the mirror.. I'm quite disappointed with the Blackvue 380g but again was £100 and only 720p quality..

Wouldn't go BV 650-2ch if picture quality is important. Have it installed in mine and the bit rate is so low that I was very disappointed with the picture quality in motion, particularly at night. The latest firmware seems to favour the cloud functionality (which is IMO pretty useless) over bit rate and it suffers badly. There are custom firmwares which allow you to increase the rate but they don't seem to work on the newer 2CH models.

Was happier with the picture quality with my £35 G1W before if I'm honest....shame as the factor and quality of the BV is up there as amongst the best....

Off eBay. Think there are a few Uk sellers but got mine from China. Still going strong in my GFs Mini Cooper!
