Hi I'm Chris, I'm from Stockton on Tees and new to the forum.
Just picked up my B8.5 S4 Black edition in Ibis White
I part ex'd my focus RS against it. RS was running approx 400bhp - the power was great but I wanted the grip to put it all down hence choosing the S4 with its tuning potential.

The project is already underway as the intake is on its way and my next few months wages have practically been spent already.

Cosmetic mods
- Led interior light upgrade
- Window tint
- Wing mirrors gloss black
- Rear diffuser
- Wheel spacers

Performance mods
- Revo Air filter with carbonio intake pipe (not a fan of open systems)
- Magnaflow x pipe
- Pulley upgrade
- Revo remap
- DSG map

Open to opinions on my choices any advice will be appreciated

Welcome Chris

Plenty of ex RS owners joining the S4 club. What kit did you have on the RS? Mine was a Collins Stage 2 which was epic but the ride ended up taking its toll on me.

Regarding the intake I went for a closed system too (AWE S-Flo) based on not having too much SC noise in the cabin but enough to hear it whine and also for an OEM look.

Mine is getting Eibachs fitted on Monday so something you might want to consider perhaps with your spacers to give it that stance

Cheers Rich
Make sure you put a post up on the Eibachs I'd like to see how you find them.
My RS was running Revo stage 4 i loved the thing but was driving the mrs mental as it was slammed on its **** with full anti lift kit and stiffened everything. Combined with a decatted mongoose system i can see where she was coming from to be honest haha. Great cars but the drive home from the garage was more comfortable than the drive there. I've gone from a Green RS to a sleek S4, Quite like the wolf in sheeps clothing approach.

Haha that wouldn't be the Mongoose Section 59 exhaust by any chance??

I'm also travelling to Collins Performance to get the Eibachs fitted. I will be sure to post up before and after pics. Drop I'm going for is 20mm

Always used Eibachs on both my ST and RS and they are excellent springs as they are progressive. They were a last ditch attempt to help the ride on the RS but it wasn't enough with day to day driving or spending a massive amount on Bilsteins. Thankfully got damper control on the S4.

20mm should sit it nicely I reckon bud.
Yeah section 59 bud haha right noisey thing ha. I was put off going lower on the s4 after having a stiff ride for so long but didn't take into account the damper control. How much have you paid for your Eibachs?

Eibachs were £190 - not sure what fitting will be yet but prob close to £300 in all

Welcome along :)

Very nice looking S4.I have the revo stage 1+ (6MT not DSG though) & love it,worth getting the SPS to run the higher map IMO as it releases a touch extra power (good for 1/4 mile i imagine). The highest map file gives me 14HP & 16FtLb over the standard map & a 0-60 of 3.6
I also have the Revo intake,it is designed to seal against the bonnet.Plenty of charger whine from it if you like that sort of thing (i do haha)

@xpoweruk Nice one mate what figures is yours pushing at the moment with stage 1+? Im liking the sound of having sps so I'm not in permanent hoon mode all the time :p

500Hp 422LbFt for the 98 tune, add the extra for the 100tune (I was told to expect 440-480 by the guys at the dyno)
The SPS also has a 95 tune on it,nit used it though :)

That will do for me. Did you have to buy the charger pulley removal tool or did the garage already have one?

The revo dealer sorted it all for me .

Was the first 1plus for them & they owed me a favour :)

First update on progress.
Full LED upgrade on Interior lights. 100% recommend this if your car isn't fitted with them already.
All the following lights have been changed for white LEDs - mega bright and looks awesome
2 front reading lights
Big front main interior light
Glove box
Rear reading lights
All 4 puddle lights
Sun visor mirror lights
Boot light

Also - Got my windows tinted today. I went limo black on the sides and rear windows.
Looks a little meaner now. Will post better pics when I get round to it as today I was running out of light

Nice work @Chris Nelson. Next thing is, now you've got all the interior lights to LED, get the Carista app, and activate the footwell lights to be always on. The interior looks great driving at night. :)

Also I got some 3D gel number plates to give that pressed effect with gloss writing.

When you getting the pipe on bud ?

That's one thing I was disappointed with on the v6 was the exhaust note just sounds so weak compared to the V8 hopefully the X pipe sorts it out a bit

Cheers @Bristle Hound , Not as big a difference as I thought there would be, I took out both from silencers and I'd say it's probably slightly louder than the X pipe video but it's hard to tell, still has that raspy note at high revs I just can't get used too

I know what you mean chop but i quite like the raspiness of it. The x pipe vids ive watched seem to deepen it a bit and make it quite a bit louder so ill post the results.
@chop im back out at work now for 3 weeks and im wanting to get it done when im next home in my leave so not long bro
