What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Mickey i like that nicely done , as for mine today done nothing because its rained all day, last week it snowed as tried to waxed it :rage:

I don't have any current photos matey, If I get a chance to tomorrow i'll get one up for you.

This is about the only one I have but it's not really at a great angle to show you what's what

What grill is that?

OEM RS4 item , straight fit into s-line bumpers, same as mine and other members.

@Quattro GmbH 63 I managed to get a side on picture of the car today, I think it sits a bit low at the back and a bit high at the front

thanks for that chap, just what i needed too, what drop is that , i ask becuase it looks allmost the same as mine is at present on the s-line springs.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be -45 but I don't think it dropped the front by much at all, it looks like yours was sitting lower than mines as standard

Heres how it used to sit

maybe they were 30mm drop mate, as you say the front hasnt dropped much over s-line springs which are 25mm drop, 5mm isnt much more drop on the front .

You may well be right there, I'm thinking about getting rid of the lot as I think my shocks are getting a bit tired, I'll be going down the coilover route when I do.

It's really nice (I have grill envy) but guessing it's £££££? Only OEM RS4 grill i've seen was about £480

Cheers mate, unfortunately, for what it is, it is very expensive, but for us SLine guys it's one of the only options we have.

yep thats about right, sometimes come up cheaper but not often, some can be more.

i picked my new one up for silly money just before xmas £290 on ebay new and boxed with the brushed ally finish surround, but used my gloss black surround in the end and sold the silver one , so a win win situation.

you are so right mate, s-line owners do get hammered for a lot of parts it seems.

just lashed out today for a set of OEM S4 door blades and a pair oem S4 satin silver mirrors ,and that's drained the bank a bit more now.....

Guessing the s4 door blades stand out a little more?

yep, not a massive amount but enough, wasnt too sure i liked them to start with but over the last 4-5 months they have grown on me a lot, so saw a genuine set i went for them.

I'll keep checking eBay but it looks like doing the rs6 mod is the most reasonable way of going about it. High pressure job though, don't want to be needing two takes!

Fitted a new recirc valve tonight, been putting it off for a while... Completely different car, sooo much quicker!

Think the seal on the old one was slightly past its best!

Cheers
I got it from e-bay was only about £10 item numbers 252257647128 can't add a link as I'm on my phone.

how did you find working on the curves with it?

looks great for wrap.

Not today (Sunday actually)...

Swapped front springs.

Replaced front lower arm shock bush because I was convinced the SuperPro polyurethane one was squeaking. It still squeaks so I'm suspecting spring seats or top mounts.

To do today - find a new 501 bulb in my garage and replace driver's footwell light.

I've got plenty spare if you want semit haha, just fitted leds.

Got loads, just can't remember where I put them.

May also remove exhaust tonight and bodged fix the holes (some confirmed, some suspected).

Nice day so fitted rear pads and then gave it a good wash and polish

Looks nice and clean that Mikey!

All I've done today is de-badged the OSR and replaced it with this....

It does look wonkey in the pic but I can assure you it's straight and level.

Today failed the MOT with 2 broken springs and a less the good rear brake pipe!

All striped down this afternoon and new pipes both sides fitted. Tomorrow my new springs should arrive (eibach sport lines) any excuse to upgrade it then back for retest

looking very nice, i have to agree sometimes tailgate badges look wonky in pics but in reality they are fine, i think its an optical illusion . You just need to sort out those exhaust tips now chap for some nice straight ones, downer are ok but never really look quite a snice as straight tips , just my input.
