Come on then get yer sexy misano 8V's out!! lol

Always carried a torch for misano red as it was the colour of the saloon we test drove. I was keen on speccing it but my missus point blank refused to have a red car so that was the end of that!!

I thought it was a lovely colour when I first saw a dozen German e-tron demonstrator vehicles back in 2014. By the time I got around to ordering mine I was a bit weary of seeing every e-tron in Misano red and hence went for Scuba blue. My missus was of a similar mind to yours so it was never really an option.

Here's mine after a recent clean (over a week ago it's looking hideous again now )...

I still love this colour despite how much it shows the dirt, the shade of it when just cleaned is lovely.

Never thought I'd have a red car though I usually go for dull colours like grey or silver (although appreciate there can be great versions of those!)

Sorry no likey Misano red,reason Being?Audi charge £550 for it,me son had a A5 in it,it looked so one dimensional and extremely difficult to spot any pearl effect on the paint,brilliant red no cost option no brainer
Nogaro blue is even worse and looks so flat it's unreal, defo must be the lighter pearl shades of paints that struggle with the different hues in the paint not worth £2k

Gotta say mate I disagree with you, misano can go from orangey red to dark red depending on sun/lighting......ok less noticeable in the weather were getting just now but great in the summer

......having said that I still can't tell the difference with Brill red sometimes!! lol

I love Misano - no other colour was even considered. Unfortunately work means it doesn't get washed as much as I'd like, so these are a few "dirty" shots of my S3. Alongside is my wife's A1 Style - she liked Misano so much she had to have an A1 in that colour too - so "His n Hers" LOL
(PS: Exhaust tips since cleaned - in fact the only bit cleaned LOL!)

First red car I had was a ......Vauxhall Astra on a J plate 1992..I know it was a while ago...lol
Anyway the paint on that car faded to a pink car and every 6 months or so I had to get it polished to get the red back...The second red car I had was an Audi A3 2.0 TFSI s line 2006 only had it for 4 months It had issues with the engine rattling like a bag of spanners(it really was that bad)..So swore not to get a red car again..That's it really just never had any luck with red cars...
