Hi people, i have got the kufatec Xenon drl kit for a facelift on a 2006 a3. It has a seperate yellow wire coming from each adaptor which is supposed to fit into the headlight module under the steering wheel.

Does anyone know which pin it is and will it coding?

Thanks in advance.:blow:

The headlights are 2011 DRL xenons which we are retro fitting onto a 2006 car

I would also like to know this, I have a 2006 with a retrofit MY10 front however have halogen lights an would like to change to xenon also.

Get in touch with Nigel @NHN he offers this service supply and fit and he's done lots of work on my car so can vouch for him and his workmanship :)

The lights are fitted to the car pal all i want to know is where the extra wires fit on the module. I would appreciate if someone can help out :tongueout:

Was referring to the other person who hasn't done anything yet. If I knew the answer I'd have told you :)

I've already got facelift front, as per the OP I would like to know where the extra wire on the xenon conversion harness goes.

I assume you've already checked you have a compatible central electric module? You really need access to Elsawin or do a Google search for someone who's done it before.

I did the xenon conversion on my 2009 but obviously things will be different.

The yellow wires are for the shutters for main beam
On your module they go to
Plug A pin 5 ( right headlight )
Plug D pin 6 ( left headlight )

Yes it will require coding

Is that for my car? If so i will get that sorted My dipped beam is working, will the led's work after coding?

Yes that's for your car

Yes the LED drls should work after coding providing your loom adapter is correct
I've known kufatec looms to be wrong
