Turbo now cleaned and fixed, now I have a new issue

So as you can tell by the title, since my last post I have clean out my turbo and it works perfectly fine now, but my new issue is with my cooling system. Basically when driving (could be for endless hours) my temp gauge doesn't move at all, but when stationary ei. In traffic or mcd drive through by gauge will move to above half way or so. But my fan does not turn on at all?

It's starting to worry me any ideas as to what it could be and how to fix the issue :S

ive just re read your post, and I understand now.
When you said it wasn't moving at all, I thought you meant from zero. When in fact you're saying it overheats slightly.
Yes your fans should come on. Check fuses and fan control module.

Also acces block 49 on your climate control display.
Hold down recirc and press the up arrow. Then scroll using the + temp button to 49c and press recirc. That's your actual temperature

Doesn't move from 0 or 90.
You need to specify whether the car gets up to temp or not.

right basically, every day i driving 40+ miles and the needle does not move from 0
BUT
If i go to MacDonald drive through or if the engine is running but car is not moving the needle will slowly move up to or around 90. but at no point does the fan turn on

The guage SHOULD point to 90 all the time, vertical straight up.

The stat regulates coolant flow to keep it there.

When the stat fails it tends to open early, allowing the engine to run too cool.

When your in the drivethru queue, theres no airflow cooling the radiator, so the temperature rises up to where it should be. When you set off again, the airflow returns and the engine gets overcooled again.

as Kev said, thermostat failure causing cold running. This will also be hurting fuel economy and performance.

Does it ever get beyond 90 degrees (vertical) when stationary? if so, then that's a separate issue, check the 3x 30A fuses on top of the battery as a first port of call for fans not working.

na, it only ever gets to 90 degrees when stationary (as far as iv seen anyway)
