How did the RS look in Daytona? Ive ordered Daytona with the black pack and Im a bit worried about how it will look.

Firstly, congratulations on ordering the RS3, I've postponed my decision for financial reasons but cannot find a competitor I'm content with, so RS3 will happen (hopefully next year!).
Secondly, I'll caveat this (rather obviously) with the statement that it is all just my humble opinion; thankfully we are all different and our opinions vary accordingly!
Having seen and driven the Rs3 in Daytona grey several times, I cannot help but feel the colour does not do the marque justice. I wouldn't hesitate to have Daytona grey on a multitude of other Audi models, but for me, on the RS3 it just looks too sober.
It's a very popular colour (dubbed accountant grey in various threads on this forum) but for me, I wouldn't want this car to blend in quite so much in colour, as well as the already subtle styling for an RS model.
The black pack you've specced is a must (again imho) as the silver pack increasingly makes the car look more ordinary when matched with Daytona grey.
I hope this helps, and ultimately all that matters is that the car and spec are right for you, not anyone else!! Enjoy, and I hope the wait isn't too long!

Oh dear,
I think here in OZ it will be of a benefit to "blend into" the traffic and not stand out too much, but then again with such a special car it would be nice to stand out a little.
I was honestly disappointed with the colour options here and had / have been considering a vinyl wrap if I'm not happy with the end result.
The car should arrive late Jan so not long to go.

I like the subtle look of the RS3 and chose Nardo as it's (a) RS only colour and (b) not too in yer face! I also like Daytona and I'm sure it will look amazing!

Thank you for the photo. I like it ! I do like the nado with the black, but I thought for resale that it might limit potential buyers.
I actually liked the matt colour range but the sales guy talked me out of them saying for paint repairs they were incredibly difficult to match and blend.

Hi princess.. I think you are correct about Nandos Grey, it is a marmite colour and many including me would rather pay a bit extra and have a 'proper colour' but it's all down to personal choice. I also agree that on A3/RS3 Daytona looks bit bland. I had it on a 2013 A7BT Black Edition and it looked great with 21in Tit Alloys. (Ride was not great on anything but motorways) For my 2p I don't think you can go far wrong with Black/Silver Blue according to taste or if you want to stand out some of the exclusive colours. I'm sticking with Mythos black, especially as car arrived at dealer a couple of days ago. ;-)
Spotted a Nando Grey one is Lanark, Scotland (P/C ML11)on 24/12/15. First 8V I have seen, thought it was a bold colour choice but I have to say I liked it. I doubt you will regret the Daytona Princess, I have yet to see an accountant or anyone else in a suit that looks that good

Congrats on your arrival RGBARGEE! I can't wait until I can say that mine has arrived. I do love the black and I am in fact driving an A3 in black atm. It looks great.

Saw a 15 plate mythos with alu pack and alu roof rails at Lancashire health and racquet club this evening. Absolutely stunning! Anyone's here?
A great colour but too much for me personally....I went for the black stealth look....pics coming at the weekend
Shame about the PP... makes them look like ex BMW/ Merc owners. When trying to suggest I register my RS3 in January rather than 1 March my dealer said PPs are getting very 'common' with people who want to disguise how old their car is or who can't remember their initials ...I told him I don't do common and I don't want one. Each to their own though!

I heard that Skoda had bought the last few pots of paint before Audi discontinue the colour ;-)
Needs renaming Cat Orange. It looks good in some lights I agree but awful in others . Definitely a marmite colour.
I totally agree with you RG, I originally ordered cat red due to all the advertising posters etc which made the car look amazing and very red. This all changed when I popped into Cardiff Audi to have a look at one in real life.
It looked really orange and to be honest I was really disappointed,luckily I was still able to change the colour of my order.
It's strange how this colour looks completely different in the flesh to the photos.

There are three RS3's that park within a 10 minute walk of my work.
Could have also seen two others on the road this past week in Nardo, difficult to tell, but I assume Nardo is only available on the RS (otherwise it was an Exclusive S3 or A3).
As with every Audi, they are going to be a common sight up this way.

Spotted one this morning heading into Bristol down M32. Nandos Grey but looked weird with a badly spaced p****r plate.. SAIIY X?? I presume Driven by someone called Jane!

Saw a lovely RS3 Mk2 in blue (not sure which one) with Alu pack 65 plate going the opposite way to me along Preston Road in Lytham, unfortunately I was not in mine, just in a black VW Golf myself.

Orange RS3 de badged going over the Forth Road Bridge. Gave him the thumbs up as I went by in my mere 300 bhp Golf R. Looks stonking with the pano roof. Lovely!!!!!
