I've never been overly keen on the alu pack, but I must say, it works really well with the black paint and red calipers! Lovely! Enjoy!!

Same here Scotty2011.........

Couldn't find any love for Alu pack when I first saw it...... However on this RS with the roof rails and red calipers the Alu works well I think.

It fits well with titanium wheels I think. Alum pack looks better with darker colours

I would be happy with either! Wife had a BE *P which looked mean and as I've just sold my 8V S3 with all bits, roof bars mirrors etc, thought I'd go all black this time.. looks mean. For me the Alu mirrors look good but think the red callipers are a bit OTT looks and price! But as they say it's personal choice!

You have gone for mythos, i need to do a search as well - whats the difference between that and Panther?

Mythos is metallic
Panther is Crystal effect

Rear Calipers are red too.

Panther is a browny black in some lights, quite stunning in others. Different type of metallic, more expensive and can be harder to paint match.

In the absence of the old Phantom Black Mythos looks pretty good.

Rear calipers are red (if fronts are) but red makes them look puny.

Had panther black on my TTS.

Never looked brown ?

But could have a shade of purple to it in some lights as the fleck was so bright.

It was stunning in sunshine ....

Not in real life .... just black & purple hue.

That paint was the pain of my perpetual never ending cleaning regime for 2.5 years lol

Nothing beats black when clean though !

I have seen several in real life RS5 and RS3 and my opthamologist friend concurs with the brownish purplish tinge in certain lights.. Metallic black for me!

Thanks guys - yes i know there are red caliper at the back, and that was my joke - you real do notice how small they are in red. Shame, as the fronts look epic.
