S3 engine whine help

Hi looking for help my car has started to whine over the last couple ov weeks when its in gear and when in park. It sometimes goes away then comes back a couple of seconds later i jacked the car up and it seems as if the noise is comeing from bottom of the engine where it connects to gearbox and as you will hear on the video link it also continues for a few seconds after i swich engine of any help would b great thanks its a 2010 s3 with a dsg gearbox

Yeah air con is off ,when i had it jacked up and was underneath the car ther were no fans on and it sounded like inside bottom of engine jst a bit concerned as to the stories ive heard abt dsg boxes and prices to repair

Must admit it's a strange noise, especially when the engine is turned of and the whine dies away. Think it's a visit to a VAG specialist for you, unless someone on this forum has heard that before.
