so Iv had a scorpion exhaust for a few months but have had a few issues
The car went back in and scorpion listened to the issues and set about fixing them
Issues irritated me included drone boom and vibration on tick over
The overall sound was awesome and on full chat sounded epic
So after a few weeks away and a full week of me driving the car I can safely say all issues are resolved
Tick over is low and deep but vibration free with no boom on acceleration

Dynamic is loudish when the valves open but more like turning the oe sound up by 30 percent absolutely lovely

Now motorway drone GONE boom all gone this is truly a non boom non drone system
I have to say I'm well over the moon , obviously if you want crazy loud then go non res but I feel my option suits the car perfect
I have resonated valved de cat turbo back
I intend to add videos next week end

Saw your car today Paul it looked awesome - and the Scorpion system laid out on display next to your car looked quality. If I go full system this will be my first choice.

Looking forward to the videos !
 
What issue did Scorpion fix? Have the changes now been made to future exhausts they are producing?

all exhausts to resonated valved will be this spec

Think this has been a common issue with Milltek also having the same issue and also the same cure. Booming in the cabin at 2,500rpm - I believe a slighter larger resonator box was the curr from what the bloke on the stand was telling me.
 
Can we have some close up (non fuzzy) ;) photos please? The Scorpion Systems are excellent and (as an ex engineer) the welding work is second to none!

May we ask what the RRP is for the system fitted?

They have a new mid section, resolves the drone issues.
Im waiting for this new section so I can reinstall my exhaust!

Defo get it on Dan also get the valves Added as they make a massive difference
 
Was the drone really this bad? Ive owned silly loud cars so cant imagine it being worse than that!

It's caused by my downpipe apparently.
Downpipe = power
Cat back = noise

So kept the power, but now there appears to be a fix so will attempt it again unless someone buys it from me.
 
I love exhaust porn. Their design is very different to mine. I'm loving the BSC sound. Lots of people turn to see what's coming when you pour the power on, and sounds like stock when you don't.

Are the valves scorpions own or taken from the original exhaust?

Think I'm gonna order the Scorpion sport cat down pipe tomorrow.

Anyone have issues with the reducer ? Looks a bit abrupt to me would have thought a longer funnel shaped one would have been better ?
 
Can't see any issues at all with the reducer, had a downpipe with stock cat back for about 5000 miles now.
Just make sure it's fitted properly so there are no leaks.

My new reg is much better btw ;-)

keen on the scorpions i like the build quality, im tempted to get one for mine when it comes. your car looks nuts
 
Can buy my scorpion exhaust with the Akrapovic tips ;)
APR were at awesome in Manchester but you can get the software at any dealer around the country.
