Hi Guys

Looking for some advice on putting flaps on my 2013 Black edition some people say you can't get any is this correct?

I've successfuly fitted mudflaps to a B8.5 S4 Black Edition saloon, using @GC001's guide as set out in the thread quoted in post 2 above. Pics will follow shortly. They're a bit chunky looking but hopefully will provide protection, particular for the sills and rear valance.

Mine arrived from TPS this morning, hoping to get them fitted on Saturday.

@jdp1962 , could you confirm, maybe with a picture to demonstrate which bit of the arch liner I need to cut along with the bumper?

It would be much appreciated.

Can't do a pic without removing them again. All I can say is, when you offer them up, it's soon apparent where the resistance is, so you'll be able to work out what needs cutting.

No worries, just thought I'd ask.

I'll have the car up on the lift so should be pretty obvious.

Done and dusted!

Might be of use to @ruairi83, Paul can fit them!

Good job bud. But am surprised you got Paul to fit them. Poor fella is tortured with you lol

He loves it honestly! He fitted the passenger side, the drivers side was my work lol.

I fitted the glovebox light and footwell lights this afternoon too, hate the way you don't even get a glovebox light without the interior light package!

From that pic, I'd say you managed to get a tighter fit of the mudflap to the curve of the bumper than I managed. They can't ever fit perfectly, as the contour of the 8V bumper is different.

Ended up getting them pretty tight, took my time with the blade I used to cut the arch liner (didn't have to touch the bumper) to ensure maximum contact.

Will get some better pics when I get the car washed on Monday. One journey out and they've proved their handiness already.

Ended up getting 3 longer black screws (not the ones supplied) onto them so they're not going anywhere.

Fronts fitted fine as per other posts.
