Hi everyone, first of all i maybe new to the RS4 but im not new to the B7. As some already know my big turbo A4 quattro caused a stir.
After my first AudiTuner feature i thought why stop now.

I loved the B7 so much that i just had to own an RS4..... the more people slagged them off, the more i wanted one lol.

So here she is, my mugello blue RS4 B7

Shes not standard to start with so ill just let you know what shes packing.

Stage 2 mrc tuned 435bhp 340lbft
Milltek exhaust with gutted cats (mrc lingo)
Ispiri 19 x 9.5" wheels with conti sport contact 255 35 19s
Kw v3 coilover
H&R anti roll bars all round
Adjustable tie bar linkages with a full geo
Hubcebtric spacers.
Basically a receipt for £7.5k with mrc.

Now ive been as guilty as the next guy for slagging these cars off but i deserve nothing but a **** slap to the face!!
What a ******* machine!!!
The sound!!! The sound!!!
Im addicted in everyway of the word, and due to our company becoming the Uk distributer/dealer for JHMotorsports means the supercharger conversion has to be done.

Well thats my introduction and i hope you guys will follow my build as we progress and give me your 2 pence worth

Thank you
She needs a little attention to detail paint work wise, and the front end could ideally do with a re spray for stonechips and then i think it will be exactly as the day it was made. All of the paint work appears original so it would be a shame to paint it, but i cant help myself. Im also gonna stick with the colour as its really grown on me

Ill update my progress as it unfolds. Exciting time!

Just a book mark for me so I can follow the updates. If you can get 500hp out out of a 2.0 surely 600hp is possible from this?

Ill be honest mate, 600bhp is the least im aiming for. Im already in talks with TSR performance regarding adding a little more strength to the motor. The rest is already in the pipeline. We should have something to show by the new year latest, but other additions will be happening in the coming months. Althougj right now theres no rush as i just love it as it is at the moment. Still in the hooneymoon period lol

Think you've made a good choice IMO sticking with the Mugello Blue, it's a classic yet striking colour. Restrained yet menacing !!

Looking forward to this as the story unfolds..........

I totally agree mate. Harder to keep upto, but original which counts. Really hyped about this. Ive always loved the B7. The RS4 doesnt dissapoint at all. Especially a well maintained one.

Definitely looking forwards to what you do with this car.

You accomplished so much with the TFSi,and a lot of that should transfer directly to the RS4 engine.

Good luck!

Cheers Alex, was hoping you would follow. things are so simlar that we already know what we are dealing with as you say, so that should make things feel a little more at home. :)

The car looks great....I always did love the sound of those engines....like an old bomber flying past.

The conversion ought to be great fun.
Have you decided on a kit yet?
My guys down in Lakeside had done a supercharger conversion on one recently but it wasn't the APR kit.

It sounds epic with the full miltek. So addictive. Ive got about 150 miles to a tank lol.

Were gonna be using a JHMotorsports charger as we are now the uk dealer for them, so we want ours to be the first to test it. Both with a jhm map and also a map from unicorn hopefully

That's a very interesting departure from the norm.
Basically a belt/gear driven turbo compressor if I'm right?

Yes pretty much mate. Theyre trialing stage 2 at the moment and are seeing 1/4 mile in 10.7 seconds. But it requires a built engine,or so they recommend. So im gonna have tsr performance throw some pistons in, as the rods and valve train are strong enough to take it

That's really clever, and I'll be following this build like your previous one.

You may remember the Gumpert Apollo, which has a twin turbo version of this engine, turning out up to 800bhp.
It's about the nearest thing to a road legal GpC car that I've ever seen or heard.

TSR gave me some very good advice a while back re:manifolds for the S3,and I nearly chose theirs, but eventually didn't as they hadn't fitted a GTX35 to a car before, and couldn't absolutely guarantee a fit, whereas Nortech could.

Gorgeous looking car and passenger. Look after them both.
I really don't think you can beat the noise that these make. You just don't need a stereo, I can believe the 150 miles to a tank.
Be good to see you at GTI International next year giving it a run out :) .

Its funny you should say. My wife came with me on collection but other than that ive been on my own or with friends since then.
I took her the scenic route home yesterday down a road i know very well... she wasnt scared as she trusts me as a driver but she said i had her heart pounding lol.. i didnt have the heart to tell her my heart was pounding even more. Just a road going touring car.

Im aiming to save us all a pretty penny on this charger conversion mate. Im hoping sub £10k so hang fire if you can. Gonna be into the new season before its done i think realistically. But ive got a few subtle tricks up my sleeve to add before the final step, which will be the charger

Look forward to this developing. Gorgeous colour choice.... don't see many of them about.

I use Shell only and rack up points constantly. Average £40 every time I get a voucher off fuel. Craig did you know that you also get 1000 shell points per 2x tyres or 2500 per x4 tyres ordered online from Blackcircles.com for home delivery?

thats a good one to rack the points up too
