Nope amk bud ; ) could be a 2001 model but in my book it's registered in march 2002

Sweet looking ride bud, don't you guys get the aluminium door mirrors over there?

Thanks guys!! as for the ally mirrors jojo is correct..These cars are also becoming extremely rare in my country there aren't many with ally mirrors :( same with blue self tint side mirror glass also an optional extra here

Wow, thats one clean car!!!

Looks good mate and welcome to the site :)

The ally mirror caps are/was a £500+vat optional extra if I remember correctly? So not all S3s had them.
I thought all facelift models had Ali mirrors, didn't know they were an option, you learn something every day.

How much are they over there?
For a really clean decent one you looking around 100 000 to about 120 000 rand if you can find one...Which is about £6300.00...cars are really expensive here especially ones that are now becoming limited!..

I'm actually trying to find a set of these mirror caps...seen a few on eBay but with import duties it becomes really expensive

So here is some pics of the car after detail ;)

Big pleasure. Love working on them, especially clean examples like your one. :respekt:

What a beautiful car, I would be scared to drive it in case it got dirty or breathed on by someone. I have found my christmas present though :) although mine doesn't have the rear wiper.

Thanks sooo much man I am scared to drive it hahahah that's the problem just want it to stay clean always

I'm sure the weather in SA helps to keep it in such good order, unlike our wet, salt covered roads in Blitey.

It honestly does man it's rare to actually see any of these cars with rust ever. Unless they stay close to the ocean and never wash your car..
