can the mods make this a sticky please?

Today, Sunday 26 Jul - Nardo Grey RS3 driving through Shrewton Wilts about 1620hrs. Didn't get chance to get behind it; in my Q5, as I turned off. Anyone on here?
 
Grey going north on the M1 from Luton to about J15 yesterday 4pm-ish.

Number plates had press office under them - reg ended XXM I think.

Managed to sit behind it and exchanged thumb-ups.

saw a nardo grey rs3 with roof rails parked up in beckenham, kent, south east london
 
65 plate RS3 in black with (I think) red calipers and anthracite alloys parked in the M&S car park in Longwell Green, Bristol.

Thought it was an S3 until I did a double take. Sorry!!

Mythos black with black alloys spotted coming out of the Fairmont tunnel in Monaco yesterday about 1500. Doubt its anyone on here but sounded great in the tunnel.
 
Black RS3 spotted in Penrith heading to Sainsburys maybe? Almost didn't spot it as it's black on black!
 
I saw a Nandos grey one in my drive last week.... wanting a black one next March ;-)

The first Catalunya Red one I've seen and it was gone almost as soon as I'd registered what I'd seen!! On the way from Amesbury to Salisbury... I think it's confirmed the colour I want, looked lovely and light in the rare September sun!!
 
Five RS3's all being spanked hard around Stonehenge / A303 today at Salisbury Audi's exclusive event.

Four in Daytona with anthracite wheels, silver package and the white leather. The fifth one in Sepang with silver pack and white leather.
 
It was only two Daytona and one Sepang, had the pleasure of driving one in each colour and their S3 saloon. The Catalunya was seen little after 1800, would love to see one up close in the metal (and preferably static!!).
Found some awesome new roads today, despite the busy A303!!
The fire is burning strong for an RS3 now - no compromises!!

^^^ pretty sure when I got there at 1pm there was 5!

They were definitely the most popular car there. Shame none had the dynamic pack.

Even if the want is strong they told me 6-7 months to get one. One of the guys there only admitted that after some badgering.....

Yep. Both the Audi UK staff and the dealer staff checked all the cars for me.

It's loud without the dynamic pack anyway but I did find the ride hard so would like to try it with mag ride.

50/50 if I'll order one. It wasn't the massive step up I was expecting it to be over the S3.
 
Interesting feedback , I thought it was a significant step up from my S3. You have me worrying again about the ride. Bristol Audi demo has Mag Ride and was very smooth in Comfort mode. Dealer told me standard ride was similar and you only really befit from Mag ride if really pushing it.. Would Iove a side by side review. If you're tempted you could always place an order to get your place in the queue?

I'm going to have a think about ordering over next few weeks. I thought it was a hard ride. Thanks for the heads up about Bristol as will try their demonstrator.

I'm going to write something up on my personal observations of the RS3 vs S3 on the 8V section. Not sure anyone has done that on that section yet but I know people are wondering if it's worth £9k (before options) over an S3.
 
Interesting. I have had a loaded S3 from new and love it but as wife isn't driving for a few months thought I would try to sell it (on Audi.co.uk) it's been a great car but thought a good opportunity to order an RS . I probably drove 50 miles or so and loved it (apart from noisy exhaust) . Is anything worth more than lower version is a good question. Wife has a 1.4 A3 150 sline COD which is great, bigger gap between S3 and RS3 than I thought there would be. Talk to Mark Paddon in Bristol.
 
What colour is the demo in Bristol? I'm yet to hear the sports exhaust or experience mag ride so may well take a trip...
The staff yesterday said that the extra wait for the dynamic lack means not many dealers have them (plus Audi UK were autocratic about their demo specs!). Salisbury have a Catalunya Red demo on order but have no idea of delivery due to customer orders being a priority.
Even the wife is telling me to order one and I'm not sure the dynamic pack is a deal breaker...
Having driven the S3 saloon yesterday I think the difference between that and the RS3 is worth the extra, the presence and experience did it for me!
Desperate to see red in the metal and then I fear my mind will be made up!!

Bristol Demo is Nandos Grey picture in my profile. They sold their previous sepang demo which looked awesome and had to wait a month for a 65 reg to be put on. Glad you have a supportive wife too.I know it's boring but I reckon sporting Audis look mean in Black.

Thanks for the info - might pop to Bristol for the dynamic pack and Cardiff for the colour...

I've also started adding more options each time I configure the car, it's getting more expensive and Audi aren't even having to work for it!!!
 
Same dealership in Bristol Bath and Cardiff. Great people good service too.

I've seen the same Nardo Grey RS3 on two separate evenings during rush hour going CW on the M25 near junction 18/19...
 
Saw a lovely Black Rs3 today, private reg - G* **P near Northampton/Milton Keynes way, not from around that area but was the first I have seen on the road! Looking good !
 
(I think) a Sepang Blue RS3 in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire last night about 8/8:30pm.

Saw it while running so didn't clock it 'til it went past - I heard it coming though and it sounded INSANE. I've never heard a new one in the flesh before, do they all sound so nuts?? It was was cracking and popping like a trooper.

A black (I think) RS3 in Oxford city centre, last Sunday about midday ish... Love the understated nature of the car; inconspicuous if it wants to be, or all out claps and rumbles of thunder! Love it!
 
Just spotted KE15 ??? In Mythos with Alu pack in Portishead near Bristol..anyone on here?
 
Blue one today (sepang?) with ally trim and wheels. Tesco in Bracknell. I stopped to say hello ;)

Spied a floret silver in Aberdeen today. Looked really good with all the black boys.

Floret silver does look great with the black pack. I spied a daytona grey one in Aberdeen today, coming up the parkway, looked great!
 
Oh no.....I just fell in love with Floret Silver...damn that looks awesome with black pack!! Need to go change my thread now to include this.. haha
 
audi upgrades
White mk2 spotted on Saturday around 11am Chobham/Woking. First mk2 I've seen on road and it looked awesome in white, though I would say that wouldn't I ;)
 
Spotted Sepang RS3 this morning at 6.40am heading from Chobham to Woking! :)
