Gops' Subtle mod thread

That's gonna feel stupid fast, big respect to you for going all out on it instead of leaving it at hybrid power.

Some of the builds bill has done this year have blown me away. You, tuffty and goubo must just constantly grinning from ear to ear.

Bumble needs a major power hike lol

If it relates to the bhp,that's the daily setting....the final set of horses is in the 2.1 bar paddock!

Storm and Syvecs got somewhere into the low 600s at 2.1bar,without fiddling with the VVT or ignition timing,and then wound it back a bit for the sake of the gearbox,and also the exhaust aft of the downpipe needs a little bit of work at those flow rates.

The older I get the faster I was etc

I know.....like you do..LOL

On the move I don't really think about it,but I don't use launch control...I'm not that brave with the box.

Maybe when I get around to the DSG conversion...maybe not!
 
Mine won't be back anytime soon, first box I split the case and second box damaged the gears all due to the flex of the input shaft.

Yeahhhh I've been told I'm not allowed it :( turns out samosa's didnt do the trick huh! The thing with ALS or NLS is that it will kill my turbo. Costly for a rebuild! Would be nice to use on the yearly drag strip though?

I meant as in taking it to drag strips for the sake of the gearbox. I don't want any ALS or NLS, rebuild costs scare me!

I think I'd crash trying to keep up! All the power in the world means nothing without the right car (lardy *** s3) and someone who has never driven around a track! I'm a newbie :)
