So a few weeks back I popped into DTUK to pick up some car cleaning stuff ( Juicy detailing ) and while I was there I noticed that there was a new DTUK tuning box so like you do I decided to buy it and move my current box over to another car....

So my first impressions of the new box so far are all good I have not had any issues with the box and swapping to the new box meant that I didn't even have to change the wiring loom.

Maps -

The new box holds three maps as apposed to four in the old version and I have to say this is not a problem as I only ever used two on the old box even though there were four.

And this is were the biggest change comes in as the new box you do not have to remove the box to change the map's as the new box has an external interface were you select the map and boost settings so making changing the map you are running very easy to change ( huge plus for me )

The box is slightly smaller than the old one so does help with mounting as well.

Have you tried the different maps? Is there much difference between them? Which is your favourite?

Hi The maps are not standard Andrew loads the maps that you want so your map one could be different to my map one, as for the box its very effective and extremely easy to fit and remove and changing the maps is very simple.

Highly recommended.

I've had one fitted for about a month but have left it on Map 1 +1.
I was just wondering if there was a noticeable difference between the 3 different maps? Am I right in thinking that the +1 +2 and +3 settings refer to boost levels?
Thanks

Hi yes the + is basically boost however this will react differently depending how the power curve is set in your map .. I will have a look at my maps as Andrew printed them out so maybe we could compare the print outs to see which map you have in each position.

Anyone tried the one for the S4 ?

Bought one of these also and it's great but I put it to map 3 boost two and kept it there as thought that would be best. Must contact dtuk to see if I can get a copy of map.

There is a write up in Audi tuner this month, they say these boxes are every bit as good as a remap..

Do you have the 2.0tdi 177 engine?

I would love to get the map curve for my DTUK CRDT+ box, I have requested it but have never received a reply and there isn't anything available on their website. When you say they are custom, do you mean custom to the engine or custom to what you wanted?

I'd be interested too but I guess I would have to get it reprogrammed for the 190ps.

No one came back to me either!!

Hi

Thank you so much at least someone came to my rescue. Yes l have the quatrro as well now I can have a go at fitting it tomorrow.

Many thanks.
There should have been instructions in box. Very easy to do bud. 15mins taking your time.

If you have one they take it back and reflash the box for your car providing the cables match.
Making do with the pedal box at the moment which makes a huge difference to throttle response and brings a fun factor and sense of control to the throttle.
With Christmas around the corner and two tech minded boys to keep happy the dtuk tuning box will probably have to wait till the new year.

Exactly that's why l left them a message but no one came back to me. I think they should have instructions on there website for each car. Anyway with the help of you guys l should have it up and running in no time. I already have the pedal box so looking forward to to that extra torque ....thanks everyone for your help.

since changing tech were unable to show the graphs like we used to with the older systems.

Hi. I haven't contacted DTUK yet as I want run all the maps first but essentially every single map I've tried thus far gives me an engine warning light after 3-4 days. I've never tried above +1, currently on Map 1 standard (not plus or minus anything). Maps 2 and 3 standard keep flipping out the warning light.....

Any thoughts, I really liked 3+1 as it really suits my commute and I can really feel the extra ooomph where I need it. The standard maps 1,2,3 are okay but after paying £360 odd for it it's not really as noticeable as I would have liked (and know I can get apart from the warning lights and limp mode)

So, anyone had similar experiences? I have a 2010 2.0TDI Quattro Manual.

I'll try a few more settings (minus settings) and then speak to DTUK, was just interested if this is just me....I appreciate that not all engines are going to react the same etc etc.

Thanks
Nige

Why? Surely it is just a case of rolling road a vehicle before and after?

Further to my note above I'm in touch with DTUK who are being incredibly helpful. Started troubleshooting and will update......

Anybody else got any of these and want to share their reviews?

Ive a one in my 2015 177ps.

I also have pedal box.
Have the tuning box at setting 3.2 and the pedal box at red + 3 and this give the best power delivery, fuel consumption etc.

Had this DTUK CRD-t+ box fitted on my 2.0 150BHP Diesel for a few weeks now and trying to settle on the best map settings.

So looking for forum users help on preferred settings.

What is the best setting for this engine?

I've got it on my 2.0 177 TDI A6 Auto.... honestly don't think it's worth bothering with. I've had a remap on all vehicles before this and I wish I'd just stuck with remapping this one. No noticable diff for me, in performance or MPG

Have you it wet to right setting?

I've one in my 177bhp Quattro and its night and day without it in.
