Navigation update

Brought myself an RNS-E map update disc on eBay which arrived today. To be honest I'm a bit unsure wether to put it in my unit or not. It's just as the seller described and they have 100% feedback but I'm worried that it could do something that's irreversible. Has anyone else on here had any experience with these or horror stories before I proceed?

I've updated my A6 to 2015 maps, now on SD card too, all works perfectly

Have you got the 3G Hdd version, and do you know how they get around having it activated at the dealers?

@slee1977 no, I have the non-hdd version - mines a C6 chassis, was on DVD, now updated to 2015 maps and runs off one of my SD card slots
