(hopefully) minor accident damage

Somebody gave the car a bang in a car park last night, crack to one of the fog light surrounds is the only lasting harm I can see, are these one piece and how much, what's it called and does anybody have a part#.

Other concern is the car emptied itself of a large amount of screenwash from the same area, how likely is it that it's just a hose popped or something and how hard is it to access, is it bumper off or can you get a look through the wheel arch or fog trim, also does that fog trim come out easy enough or is it a bumber off and get it from behind effort as well.

Want to try and be as kind as possible to the guy if I can for his unbelievable honesty coming into asda and finding me to admit it although it is a bit of a pain.

compared to my current experience you are very lucky - and I would do the same to reduce costs to the TP as best as possible

Take your car to a garage and get it up on a ramp and checked properly ., chances are the water bottle will be cracked .and it will be piece of mind that there is no other damage .

Looked at it today at a friends place (bumper off in 30 or so mins not bad even though not familiar with it) not the water bottle that's under the other side wing so I knew it wasn't that. it's the drivers side headlight washer that's leaking surprising gauge of hose, snapped off where the hose connects, £50 for that and the fog grille is apparently £100 so just over £200 plus vat for the bits and an hour labour to pull the bumper again and fit, that's as fair as I can be to the guy just cant believe there's no paint damage must have moved quite a bit to do that and the bumper is fine after a polish, i'll tell him he's lucky not to have smashed a xenon as they are £600 easy.

Hopefully the guy appreciates the hassle others have went to just to inspect it as a favour and no hire car involved etc. think he will but I wanted to save him future insurance hassle for being a good guy

It's a company car (owned not leased) so as long as it's fixed to a reasonable standard that it can be sold again fair enough, bit crazy though that's twice it's been hit (first time was when it was 2 weeks old) and nobody ever hit my old bangers when I drove my own cars, loads of colleagues have also had there Audis banged as well, might as well paint a target on them it seems or people just admire them so much they lose concentration

always happens - my new s3 was hit on its first voyage to work on day 2 of ownership, then clipped again a few months later in the Boulters restaurant carpark in Maidenhead by some selfish pillock who drove off -all captured on my car cameras - but alas poor weather, no street lights and not enough footage/correct angle to see their number plate. I am pretty certain it was a relative dropping off a restaurant worker

damage was minor 10p chip and a some scuffing on the bumper which cost about £100 to sort.
