Just Arrived - Sepang S3 Sedan

Hello everyone, been lurking around here for the past few months as I have been waiting for the S3 to arrive - Finally picked it up earlier this week and its been a blast!

Ordered it a few months back with the Sport Seats and LED lights - they didn't offer 19s (or MRC) with the first batch for the region, so I had to make due with the 18s. Also, the models here are set for high-heat specification - resulting in it being detuned by about 20hp.

Already started planning out some mods - received the honeycomb grill from xenonz and 19s, probably going to install them once I have some free time.

Between the intense heat and dust storms - a proper garage is needed! Otherwise the cars would end up with quite a bit of paint damage..

Where are you located? Cause i face the exact same thing, first batch was without mag &19s and also got the high-heat spec model.

I have been waiting for this car since it was announced almost two years ago, Audi sent me the initial spec sheet in August 2013!

Yea, its not just the GCC though, Australia, South Africa, Turkey etc all get the same exact detuned model. I thought maybe you were in one of those countries.
And yea i only found out because a buddy of mine ordered a car after me and specced the Mag Ride. When i ordered it, it wasn't available.

I think that the detuned engine is also due to the quality of gasoline in the region - the local dealer highly recommended i regularly use the G17 additive during fillup to avoid any misfires and issues. We locally have 98RON - but the quality has been questioned regularly in the past.

Yup, Here our 98 has been "tested" by a few third partiers and rated it at around 97 RON. Havnt found any concrete/definitive info or seen any tests my self though.

Thanks for all the comments - I'll post up a proper picture once I clean it out a bit. Right now there are parts scattered all over the place.
