Hi Mate

It was M40 Beaconsfield service's so it's normally a bit more at motorway service stations..... I really don't mind I have only covered just over 800 mile in the last 12 months LOL!!!!

Ha ha fair enough. Sounds like you keep forgetting to drive it

Just had a quick read here mate, catch up on the thread as i've fell behind a bit...

Your car does sit so nice... I have the same ET wheels although they are OZs... I can't quite get it to sit as nice as yours... The rim protection on the wheels is the issue I think...

With it being on H&Rs its rubbing, especially with load in the back and have pretty much sealed their fate for me.. Making me really cringe, isn't enjoyable to drive at the moment :(

Got my hands on a genuine RS3 grill too.. Not updated my thread in ages as it takes ages to upload photos on my OS for some reason....

Muzza is selling his CKs.. I must confess, i'm not a lover as I feel they have been severely overdone.. However I cannot deny how great they look on your car.. So i'm considering getting rid of the OZ rims and helping Murray move his on... I'll need to see how the CK wheels are with rubbing too and the H&Rs might also get ditched for the Eibachs if they're the same... I want a nice running car and comfortable to the degree i'm not cringing everytime I see a bump.. Haha...

Sorry for massive reply, not spoke to yourself in a while, hope your good! :)

Hey Jack

No need to apologise big reply at all thats what we are all here for to help each other out!

I run 225-35-19 all round with 3 up and know rubbing at all I love the Eibachs and can not fault them in the slightest!

I love the Silver of the BBS CK's it matches the mirrors perfectly and really freshens the car up they almost look bigger if that makes sense? But I am also on the look out for Gen RS3 alloys as they are so much easier to clean in the winter months lol!!!!

Hope that helps a little :)

Looks good mate. Cleaned my brakes up a year ago and finished them with a spray of lacquer and seems to be holding up well. How much did the caliper springs/clips set you back?

Hi Guys

A small update new Stickers and a clean oh and a new Diverter Valve the oe valve was perfect but for the cost of £40 I thought I change it as its 5 years old now and everything has been changed other than this lol :)

Really enjoying the late nights and summer with very little rain went to a car meet were German night and had a great time being the only S3 there was fun as it got so much attention

Few plans I fancy a wheel change so the BBS CK's might be up for sale soon and maybe buy a set of AP Brakes have them on the Bosworth and have been flawless.

Anyway a few pics......... Hope everyone is well and enjoying the summer :)

Cheers

If you do go for the AP's,remember to order at least 6-8 weeks in advance from one of their agents.

I got mine from Circuit Supplies in Leighton Buzzard, and Questmead are also main dealers.

AP only supply to order, and have a very long lead time.....I was fortunate enough to find a set that had been ordered and not fitted, saving me about 6 weeks.

Thank's Alex very much appreciated as thats something I did not think about typical lol!

I am hoping Martin at Reyland motorsport can help me out as he seems to be the AP man in Ford scene so wish me luck lol sounds like i'm going to need it, No I don't really mind the wait if need be if anything I think its a good thing as shows the demand is high I really can not fault AP in the slightest

Thank's again mate

Like you,I had APs on one of my Cosworths, and was very happy indeed.

In the case of these kits it's not so much that demand is high as that AP only build them to order, and keep no stock as such.

Alan at AP has always been helpful previously, and his team were again this time, but told me that they don't hold stock of the kits, although they were very helpful in finding me dealers to whom they had recently sold kits.

In my case cutting the time was almost essential as the calipers on my previous VWR kit were not repairable.
At least everything on an AP setup can be serviced.

Thank you Alex if I have no joy with Reyland then I will try AP Direct to hopefully point me in the right direction

I agree again 100% with the availability and future proof with AP as other kits over the years have been and gone etc

Thanks again my friend!

Little update ....... Yes that dreaded time of year the MOT!!! Very happy to say it was a walk in the park and she passed with no advisories at all so glad thats over for another year :)

Bought a new TTE Muffler Turbo Delete off Dougie on here a top man and super fast postage just waiting on call to take it in to be fitted so looking forward to that.

Started a bit work on cleaning the engine bay up in all the nooks and crannies and as ever in England it then decides to rain and stop play so downed tools and had a nice beer!

I'm looking for new wheels as I fancy a change and starting to order a few more bits and pieces just to make it my own

Anyway took a load of pics as usual and will update soon as I feel like spending lol!

Cheers

:)

Nice update, I've been reading up on the silencer delete but can't find info on fitting? Does it fit between turbo and intercooler, looks like the clip holding those pipes on?

Hi Mate

I have a pic somewhere and yes indeed fits turbo side before discharge pipe to intercooler. I was going to try fit it but it's quite tight from all reports so have been advised best fit on 4 poster ramp etc

Pic here.......What do you think fit on driveway ??

DSCN0283

I got the CTS pipe ready to fit to mine, guess you mean where the CTS pipe meets the turbo? If you take the arch liner out of the wing and get it up on axle stands reckon it can be done, just fitted new intercooler like that.

Your mint then mate as the CTS pipes come with the silencer delete :) So your not need another

And I think your right could be worth whipping it up for a look the weekend just hope the weather holds off

Edit

Think the CTS kit replaces the silencer anyway

Step 5: Replace the stock turbo hose adaptor with the supplied billet unit. Reuse the 3 oem bolts.
