TFSI induction kits worthwhile?

The gains are always going to be greater on remapped cars.

I think that as you've already had your car remapped, and have a Milltek exhaust, you're likely to get a few extra horses from this, and it does look as well made as much of the competition.

Does look good. Cheap too.

Can you log the maf intake on these and divide it by 0.8 for a rough bhp like the 1.8T's?

That I don't know....

Someone who does will no doubt be along soon.

I managed to do logs on my old stage 1 Edition 30 Golf GTI and with the MAF calculations worked out pretty much bang on the money! So yes! That was a KO4 TFSI just like the S3.
It was a stage 1 and came out at 306bhp. Linear map and extremely fast so it certainly looked right figures wise.

Yes, estimating power from the MAF readings is accurate. As long as the MAF scaling is precisely matched to the stock intake, I have seen some that throw the readings way out.

I've got the exact same kit on my a3 tfsi short and long term fuel trims are well within limits below +6. Scaling is out on maf g/s tho. I know personally that it's good enough to flow 270 bhp+ and 338lbft. Hope that helps

I did some back to back testing on my mk5 gti. Fitting parts in stages throughout the day and dynoing. Here are the results...

-Stock map, 3" turbo back milltek 213bhp
-Stock map, 3" turbo back Milltek, Revo intake 223bhp
-Revo stage 2 map, 3" turbo back milltek 257bhp
-Revo stage 2 map, 3" turbo back milltek, Revo intake, 279bhp

Huge difference, it certainly surprised me.

Cheers gents. Fitted it and although I've not had time to log it certainly seems to have free'd the revs.

Looks well but jeepers you need to give that engine a good wash!

When I met up with Voorhees, we did a run in his 360hp Golf (with the Revo intake) logging the MAF values. The MAF scaling was miles out, it was only reading 280hp of airflow, sounded nice though.
