When I change gears sometimes the turbo feels like its not engaging (boosting) properly, but usually starts working again after changing gears. need to get it looked at but don't know where

Seems a little better after fitting the s2000 filter (along with the nice sound "chu" sound that I'm getting now)

chu sound, if I read the sound as what it might actually be is a leaking DV?
worth checking its not leaking and opens when it should

As Bill said, DV needs servicing or replacing

Do you still run the standard TIP? Old ones are known to become weak and collapse between gears, causing a hesitation between boosting

It had a forge TIP when i bought it, I did read a post on here before about the DV couldn't remember what it said but I'll look into it, cheers Bill. To be honest i just assumed it was due to the open cone s2000 filter as it didn't happen before.

Car seems to feel better today, after doing an oil flush, along with oil + filter change (5w40 fully synthetic). put some Wynn's injector cleaner though also and tried and failed at changing the fuel filter :(

I did think it might be something to do with the TIP but it will be changed after I've finished servicing it
