Hello my fellow members!

Right! My car was invoved in accidant this saturday. Damage to the car is not that big and it's still worth repairing. The damage is mainly on front end as i rear-ended a car and i wasn't able to drive it off the accidant myselfe because of leaking radiator so therefore it had to be rcovered.

Initialy i am planning to get it to my place and store it until i decide what to do with it or I am just asking wether some one of you guys are willing to buy it for spares to save me some hassle?

Kind Regards

Arthur

If your wanting a breaker to buy it you won't get much for it .. I would try fix it plenty of cheap parts about

Damn, any chassis damage, what car is it?

It's an A4 avant 2.5 tdi v6

Today i am going to have a thorogh look at the damage. It looks like the slam panel, bonnet and bumper need's changing.

It's a bit of a dilemma. Well you see the car has a foreign plates. I can't decide wether to get it fixed and get uk plates or sell it for spares and put the money towards a uk car...

Repair it then sell it

I guess that would be the right thing to do money wise but just want to test the water and see how much would people pay for it. It's quiet good spec car with recaros and stuff..

All the better for when you sell after you fix it then

Loads of bonnets on eBay so you might find your coulor to keep cost down

I can't see you getting much for a smashed up left hooker to be honest.

Just had an idea your after a right hand drive car why not look for a knackered one and you've got all the boys of your crashed car to fix it

Yeah haha get silver a rear end damaged avant then use the best parts from both cars, those seats look pretty tasty.

You've got some good point's lads and i think that would be the right way to do it.

The car was succesfuly towed back to my place so now i need to save up some cash to get it sorted asap!

I'm with vr6gordy on this one. Repair it and sell it if that's the case. LHDs are usually more expensive.

It does make sense lads. And that's the route i am gonna go!

Will keep you updated of any progress!

Hello chaps!

Like I said, here's an update! Had a very productive day! Took off all the broken/damaged bits and here's a list of what need's replacing:

Slam panel except the cross member/intercooler pipeing.
Electric fan including frame.
Viscos fan.
Both radiators.
Cambelt and aux. belt covers.

Body-wise all i need is bonnet and s-line/usp bumper.

So if any of you chaps know someone who is breaking an A4 B6 2.5TDI then give me a shout. I'll be more than happy to buy all the above mentioned parts!

Kind Regards

Arthur

I'll trade you standard seats + cash for those seats!
Don't sell it with those seats in - would be such a HUGE waste!!!
