Don't actually know why I washed it in that position but I like the photo haha
Brill photo Chall's, agreed :thumbs up:

Its just the position of the wiper arm just makes the rear wiper look knackered to me :undwech:

Whilst out today an 'R' passed me and I caught up with it further up the road, looking at it I thought of this thread and straight away knew I'd made the right choice going for the black S3 rather than the black R.

After driving around in the loan sportback for a couple of weeks I've realised that my saloon can keep it's own *** clean, no need for any rear wiper either...

Mine is at the dealers and needs a new arm already, the current one is knackered and noisy.

Gotta agree with whoever said the Golf's rear tail light signature is so ugly, otherwise, nice car. Prefer the A3 though.

for what it is, I really like it.

it has all the mod cons like full elecs, heated seats, Bluetooth, sat NAV, stop start, battery regeneration, etc... and even though I purposely got the 'slower' version, it's fun to nip about in and doesn't feel like a small car.

I'm using it as my daily, and when I look at the average speed, it's the same as the RS6... about 18 miles an hour, so I haven't lost anything... but better to park, I don't care about it, people let you out, idiots in much slower cars don't try and race you, and I don't think it's going to have a strop everytime I use it.

The fact I lease it, and fuel it for less than 2 tanks of RS6 fuel it's perfect for what I'm looking for.

so the daily grind is done by a quality Eco friendly, cheap car, and I leave the fun cars for just that - fun.

Yeah, I know what you mean about 'I don't care about it' - problem with me is I always worry about my car when I leave it in a carpark, it's always parked away etc etc, but I've always wondered what it'd be like to get a car I didn't care about (i'd probably end up over caring for that type of car tbh haha, it'd have to be a £500 banger for me to not care) and leave it somewhere and not give a damn what happens.

Just interested, do you know how much money you put in the tank for a full tank, to run it empty and get how many miles out of it? My girlfriends Aygo is £45 to fuel up, and does 350 miles which is definitely not bad, my current SEAT Ibiza has a 10 litre bigger fuel tank than hers, and mine will only do 320 miles out of a full tank.

I'm the same, but this isn't my car... it's a lease... so I don't worry! lol

I do really short journals in mine, so my mpg isn't the best, compared to some on the owners forum.

the tank is 35 litres, and since I use V power fuel, it costs about £45 from empty to fill up.

my average mpg is 'only' 45, and the biggest range I've had is 328.

but again, new car (it's only done 600 miles, short cold trips, and I fill up before the light comes on)

Look cool mate, I love mini's :) Think it must be down to having one as my first car when I was 17 (HDS 461T) and the passion has stayed with me. I was tempted to buy the new Cooper S when that came out.

You use V-Power for the Citigo? I need to make that thread since I'm wanting to know if my 1.4 COD would benefit from V-Power, as i'd rather take 100% care of it where I can.

of course I do.... V power is IMO The best fuel out there for efficient burning and keeping the engine clean. (this may all be complete BS, but hey... lol )

I'll use other high RON fuels as well, but always try to get the shell stuff.

I use it in all my cars and bikes, I don't see it 'just' as a fuel for high performance cars - or even what some people call high performance.

I do get some abuse putting it in 'just' a Citigo with only 60bhp... but then, the people that laugh at me, only have 'just' 300-400 BHP.... which is far short of my RS6... so by their own set of rules, their small bhp car shouldn't need it compared to mine... ;)

I also find the bikes spit, pop and bang more with V power... which is very childish, but great fun... :D
