Its Saturday, so its 'poll' day :laugh::laugh:

Well, what body shape have your ordered / got on your A3 / S3?

Me? Saloon :thumbs up:

Saloon for me. I like the sportback, but the saloon looks a bit sharper. Also, current car is an Octavia which has a massive boot, so the bigger boot of the saloon over the sportback was a factor.

Sportback for me! my current car is a 3 door and the girlfriend complains about the limited access to the rear seats, so went 5 door this time to appease her seeing as i didn't tell her about the car until i had ordered it :)

In an ideal world I would have got the Saloon - however when I ordered early January, I was quoted seven months to get hold of one.

I do however love my Sportback and don't regret getting that bodystyle ;)

Saloon for me. When I spec'd an identical S3 SB to my S3 Saloon, there was only approx £500 difference so Saloon for me all day long.

Hatch for me, saloon is nice, but the extra spend is too much in my view. SB is nice too, but I just prefer the 3 door, and it's less child friendly, so my other half won't want to drive it. Then she'd realise what I'd actually bought.......

Hatch for me all the way. Just looks more sporty, especially in S3 guise. The sportback looks good too, but it's too close to being an estate for my tastes. The saloon - just looks dated and frankly boring to me.As for the convertible - little girls car, end of.

I must be a 35 year old 'little girl' then!

I must say that although I like the look of the saloon, I don't see the point in it. If I wanted a saloon I'd go for the A4.

I went for the Sportback as it gives you more flexibility when it comes to what you can put in the back. New washing machine anyone? :)

I have the saloon, but wish I hadn't. It'll be a SB S3 for me next.

Saloon for me! I think the S3 saloon looks amazing and their is already shed loads of hatchbacks and sport backs kicking about, haven't seen one s3 saloon locally and have seen quite a few s3 hatchbacks. Hopefully mine will be the only s3 saloon for a while :p

How often do you buy a new washing machine? lol

I agree, but for the ones who don't need to transport stuff on a regular basis a saloon is just fine.
