Welcome to The Hulk

That's a window

I assure you there is a door in that photo, one which I went in and out of repeatedly to get the keys to the RS6 and R8 ;)

+5 for the gold wheels, although I would just gold where it's been diamond cut.

It was only a 30s photochop so I won't be offended if you don't get them resprayed!

Kudos on the green though. I've always been a big fine of crazy colours on other people's cars but have always bottled it when it came to my own car.

Thanks mate, I've gotta say it's a amazing colour, I really do love it. Gotta be seen in person to appreciate fully.

Was that pic taken at Wychwood Park?

It was... along with these:
P1000913x

P1000911x

Takes me back to a day in 1971 when we were deciding on a colour for a new Lotus - I wanted to go Pistachio (Green) but compromised with Lotus Yellow

Foley Park 6x

Hi Ben

Well the colour is different and it looks great. Ignore the comments about what it's worth come resale time, i mean who thinks about what their car will be worth in say 3 years time when they have just bought it, just get out there and use it. We have had ours now for just over 12 months and it has over 15,000 miles on the clock. Lets see now if you can get 40+mpg out of it.

Crewe Audi have a Java green S3 in the showroom now. :D

I think that the Gold Wheels would look awesome! They would complement the
color of your car. :superman:

2 People in favour of Gold wheels now, politely I can't say I'm convinced lol

I think the green might effect the residuals... Green is a notoriously bad luck colour for a car :(

Hi Jeff,

Long time no speak, glad you like it mate. Yet not really thinking about resale value, just really love the colour and the car, it's for my enjoyment!

May be a while before I see 40MPG out of it, it's drinking fuel atm but I'll put that down to it being new.

The Java Green S3 at Crewe is the one I cancelled, the one that should have been mine before I decided the colour wasn't for me.

Btw if anyone's interested i'm sure I can arrange a decent deal with Crewe on this.

I think the gold wheels would look awful IMO.

Great colour, but I think I'd have stuck with Java.

Hope you enjoy the car!

That java is stunning, can you get more photos mate, maybe side on and rear on

-1 for the gold wheels but each to their own :D

Love the green though!

Looks good in some light but as a whole is very pale, gold and citrusy, hence why I cancelled it and went for Porsche Viper Green.

Crewe Audi are selling it so should have some pics online, if it wasn't for me they wouldn't have it in. To be fair they were very good and let me swap colours as once they order a exclusive they cannot cancel it.

From that view it looks lovely, very much like house of kolor limetime pearl

I will admit when I first saw this when you posted it I thought it looked completely garish, however, it's really grown on me. Major respect for having the balls to go for it.

You managed to get the Hulk detailed yet then Chall's? :D

I thought it was an awful colour when I first saw it, adding gold wheels would make it look much worse though.

saw a rather nice exclusive green at Birmingham Audi today!

Took a pic but as was on the way to swap out a broken iphone 6 I lost the piccy unfortunately :(

It was like a lizard green metallic colour, a little like the colour you used to be able to get the Porsche 911 in back in the 80s.. looks rather good! :)

You didn't say you were working for Crewe Audi, what deal can you do for this S3 then?

Although the viper green is nice, personally, the Java has a little more x factor especially with the black grill.

+1

Cheapens the car's looks IMO, put some flame decals along with the gold wheels and it would be right at home on a Fast & Furious set. Unique doesn't always = good but the OP seems very happy with the color which I suppose is all that really matters.
