hi,
any recommendations for tyres, currently running Pirelli Zeros 255/35/19 on front and Dunlops on rear, these where on the car when purchased?
Drive on both A & b roads covering varying distance's.

Is it worth tuning / re mapping engine at all ? currently & 47K miles (garages in Yorkshire area?)

Cheers.

Contis and Michellin Sports seem to be a popular option. I found the Pirellis are to soft and got through them within a year.

Remap that really is a personal choice, weigh up the pros and cons before deciding. If you do decide to remap then do lots on research on who you want to do it.

Are there many options of reputable companies willing to remap? I'll be honest, I haven't searched thoroughly but a quick Google doesn't burst with options, especially if you don't want to drive more than 100 miles to get it done

There are lots of companies. Check the sponsor section first as some have offers. Some that spring to mind AMD (Essex), Darkside Developments (diesel specialist), Revo + lots more.

If you do a remap don't forget to inform Insurance company so you don't invalidate your policy. Check your company does insure modified cars though, otherwise you will need to change to one that does.

Good luck and keep us informed of what you do.

I've heard of all three of the above, especially darkside - heard very good things - just they are all an absolute mission away from me as I'm in Hampshire on south coast. AMD Woking isn't too far but from the little feedback i've seen, they aren't great...That's only come from one person though...

AmD just use the Essex branch as they are good fellas. There was some kind of issue with the "AmD" name hence why other AmD branches had sprung up.

South Coast, unsure but I think Celtic Tuning maybe down that way??
