Theres no more supporting mods i can do, the car is currently running 238.7bhp amd 364ft lb of torque mapped at 1.8bar still returning 47mpg

I need to know if anyone has upgraded there injectors or knows whether it will be worth while me upgrading to the bosio 1287+ injectors

Or is there any other way for me to gain a little more power out of the engine ?

Please dont say get an s3 lol

Will be keeping an eye on this.. still running a stock BKD waiting to pay of loan and then start tinkering...

Does get looks wherever i drive since i put new wheels on 19" 8.5J rotor reps so its definitely a keeper

Can't say about the extra power but that looks so much better than when it was on the CH's.

How much is that lowered and on what suspension?

Bosio R1287+ should be good up to 300bhp IIRC?

What's the limit of your turbo? If you go for the injectors and find the turbo tops out at 250bhp, you'll need to budget for a bigger turbo!

could always drop it off to darkside developments and tell them to work their magic :sly:

Changed wheels again i have a problem lol
Going to get ttrs brakes and wait for winter and then park up i think, then continue the project after snow/winter

Wish it was a quattro

Turbo limit is 260bhp at 1.9bar so will get injectors and remap to suit and see what sort of figures i achieve

Exact reason i ditched my tdi after stage 1 and went to an S3, now you've invested too much to let it go.

Bang for your buck you really can't diss the :s3addict: :kissmyrings:

Any more pictures of the grey rotors? I've spent a fair amount on mine as well, selling up would be unwise. I just have to wait for a big accident or engine failure to move on. The 3.0TDI A5 or A4 would be my next choice.

Biggest issue is the lack of Quattro. Dunno if you can put much more through front wheel drive (and still have it easily drivable).

2nd gear gets no traction no matter what tyres i have lol

Im at the 300 mark on fwd, perfectly manageable :p

I must be driving too hard lol

You know what the biggest size discs i can run in the standard a3 REAR calipers ?

I think the rears are 286mm, upgrade to the s3 brakes... 310mm
I haven't had the need to change pads or discs since I upgraded nearly 2 years ago

similar set up but with a Quattro and and am never have fwd again it flys no wheel spin its just brill

I struggle for traction at stage 1

BKD/fwd

If it's even slightly damp I don't even bother picking up the keys!

New tyres me thinks

Go for firad 1287+. You get 120% than stock injection and even if you do not want that much fuel you can cut them back and have very good egt temp. I have 2260vklr and currently making 2.0 bar stable and 2.1 peak with stock injection making somewhat 250 hp... These engines have a lot to give...

Im currently having issues with tiny coolant loss and im pretty sure its egr cooler as exhaust had white smoke out of it every morning also no coolant leaking in engine bay so got too be cooler any ideas ????

That only adds extra weight. .. lol get that out and disable egr. I had coolant loss before. Had to top it every week and it was egr cooler. Egr cooler and head cracking both get the car having white smoke when starting in cold. Don't forget oil cooler kit and fuel cooler at intake so you can have lower temperatures inside combustion chamber...

Believe me that's a very good price regarding it has all you need... There isn't much science about putting this in the car. You just have to take out the cover on the bottom of the heat exchanger on the oil filter and assemble the the sandwich plate. The cooler location should be on your driver's side behind the fog light assuming you have s3 bumper.

Where are the red vac pipes going to near the fuel filter and vac reservoir ball? Ive been wondering if these engines can have a similar n75 vaccum mod like my previous pd130.
