How Many Boot/curry Hooks Are In The Boot Of A S3 Saloon?

Just wondering how many boot/curry hooks are in the boot of a S3 saloon

I have two in my current A4 and find them invaluable, especially for takeaways

Just wondering whether I may need to 'transfer' one

No eating in the car, only carrying from takeaway to home

The advantage of the S3 having heated seats if just for that task. Transporting the take-away home and keeping it warm on the seat. I see no other use for heated seats.

Never used the hooks and I certainly will not be transporting any take aways in my car. That's what home delivery is for...

Sure do Chall's. Standard fit right across the Audi range

& no HB doesn't get 'em

Presume they just mount to the parcel shelf do they then? Guess the HB won't have the mount points

On my A4 saloon, they are mounted on the bodywork frame underneath the rear shelf

Difference between the hatchback and the saloon is that the bodywork the hook is fitted too on the saloon is metal whereas the sb is made of only a low weight bearing substance. Perhaps this is why the hooks aren't fitted to that model...

i have never ever used these hooks i use the straps on them to hold my umbrella goes between the two but never used the hooks i assumed they were just there for the cargo netting

Never had a problem in 5 1/2 years using 'em on my old A4

Before I sold my A4 I was able to 'acquire' a spare hook from it for the new car
