Out of curiosity how much did you pay for your S3 Saloon?
Given that there are only 2 models available, manual/s tronic the price should deviate too much but would like to know what's the cheapest someone has gotten one for. (and where) :)

Yes I know there are brokers out there.....

Couple of member have got 10% discount :thumbs up:
I'm sure they will be along shortly

I didnt quite that much mind. I got my S3 saloon thro' carwow if its any help. The cheapest Audi Dealer might be your local one.
Might be worth a look. ;)

Yeah, I got a good discount - friend is a sales guy, but need promoted with a carwow price to get things started. The key is extras, the more you add the easier it is to discount. - easy for me ( and I think bristle ) as we are keeping for a while and have specced up a good bit. Again all down to your budget - 8-10% should be achievable I think....

My original discount was between 9 & 10% based on an manual saloon. However dealer made a mistake and s-tronic arrived which I'm getting for the original price, do now up around 13%. Bonus Roll on Monday

Nice to get one over the Stealers for a change ;)

Pics when it arrives buddy :)

Sorry to change subject slightly - how do you feel about getting s-tronic instead of manual? I know having a bigger discount can sweeten things but it's quite an emotive subject which transmission you choose....

Well done on the discount. Think 13% is the best we have seen on the forum? :thumbs up:

I was a bit in two minds which to choose in the first place. I had a couple of extended test drives in each back in February. Both had their pros and cons.

For 90%+ of my driving the s-tronic will be easier, basically commuting and motorway cruising. However, for that few percent of the time I'm on twisting country roads I might miss the manual. But then again, never really used the flappy paddles.

When it came down to the original order, I was not convinced the s-tronic was worth £1500 to me. But free!!

Oh and there will be pics, but not on Monday as I have the day off to get used to a s-tronic. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I ended up with 9% in the end. Remember if its a 1% difference is it worth it over having an actual place to visit if theres any issues?

Phatgit..you phatgit! Nice one, you will learn to love it :) Sometimes dealers try to make you pay, I'm shocked when people actually do!

It would have been a tough call if they had held out for the extra cash. It's not that I can't afford it, just couldn't justify it to myself. However, contract on the TT is up in 10 days, so need to swap, so might have paid!

Just as well they didn't realise what they have. A Sepang blue S3 would not have sat with them for long!!

The saving on the manual justified the options I picked (to me). As a Scot living in Yorkshire, that's the hardest bit!!!!

13% is brilliant, I remember someone on here saying they had a mate who worked at Audi and got them 20% off, can't remember where.
The biggest I've seen is 11% from a online broker, that's not including additional options so I would be looking to spend around £35k for an S3 S-tronic.

I guess the ball park figure for this particular model is between 8-11% off then.

Tbh the discount for me just lowers the depreciation affects when you drive away.

I agree its not about whether or not you can pay, its the principle so I'm glad they have been good with you, good motivation to use them in the future.
