Does The Honeycomb Rs3 Grill Fit The New 2014 S3 8v?

Hey guys. Just bought the new Audi s3 8V and I'm not really liking the grill on it. I prefer the rs3 honeycomb grill and was just wondering if anyone could Help me and know of it fitting the 8V?

highly unlikely. Side by side, the grills are different shape no?
 
They look it yeh. But in some other forum someone sed they do fit. Just don't want to buy it for it not to fit

8P grill onto a 8V? Maybe a 8V RS3 grill onto a 8V S3?
 
That looks awesome, it's one thing I would consider if it became available ..

I did consider the black pack, but like the way the chrome mirrors, rails, rear body colour all tie in. The only thing I don't like about the S3 is the blingy chrome grill. Too much chrome going on there. If I could keep the chrome surround but have the mesh I would.

Somebody please make this available !
 
If you wish it, they will build it.


Possibly that 8V had the RS grille modified from an RS4/5/6 ??
 
Anyone found any companies making a honeycomb grill or similar for the 8v?
Ive only found abt tuning but I'm not keen on there's
 
Perhaps you could take some measurements? Overall width at the top, height and width at the bottom to make it worth looking into.
I do like the honey comb grills though.
 
Abt show a grill for the A3 but it's not detailed on their website and it looks dreadful. but no grill for the S3

Wow, agree - that Abt effort is tragic. Surely S3 and A3 are the same dimensions and fixings though?
 
The new RS6 grill would look good? Looks about the right size too.

Remember the A3/S3 needs to have a cutout for the radar sensor in the front of the grill. I believe that the A4 and A6 have these sensors located closer to the wings so no cutout needed, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I don't have the ACC so don't need any cut outs, I still lke the RS6 grill and still wonder if it fits????

then the grille doesn't "need" the cutout. It's specification dependent on ACC

I thought that they left the gap in the grill and had a blanking plate there if you didn't spec ACC(?) This is what they do in the Mk7 Golf too. It so they don't have to design, make and stock more than one grill.

It's a shame about the abt grill seem to be one of the only companies to have a decent amount of upgrades available.

In the dealers today, saw an RSQ3 and the grill looked about the right size, if that fitted it would look great.........

I'd like to go one step further, taking cues from the R8 & new TT.

How about a honeycomb grill, with number plate and then a bonnet mounted set of smaller rings...?
 
Guys I've found a website that makes all honeycomb grills for all models. I called the boy 2 weeks ago and he sed the rs honeycomb grill will be ready for the s3 8v In about a month. Here's the link, take a look http://www.xenonz.co.uk/index.html

They are the guys who make the Quattro front grill badges, few people on here have them and the quality is questionable apparently.
 
hey guys, new to the forum

got an audi a3 salon, i also want to change the grill for a honey comb style. Just wanted to bump this up, any update on the grill?
 
This is like the Chinese company who releases the new iPhone before  and sticks android on it with a fake iOS overlay on it.

Be funny if the RS3 has a totally different grill to this come the launch.
