Sepang Blue Without Black Pack??

Hi guys. Been away for a while after parting with my rs3 but returning about to order an s3 hatch.

I'm limited to cost this time. So I'm weighing up my options. Going with light and rain sensors. Parking sensors. Interior light package and Audi stereo upgrade as my basics. Now I'm struggling on the aesthetics. Thinking either mythos black with black styling and privacy glass. Or sepang blue and then paying for the sports seats. Only thing is I'm struggling to find pics of a sepang hatch with the chrome bits on. I have trawled through Google and the picture thread on here and only found a couple of rear shots. Any help much appreciated. I'm looking to order the car tomorrow. Thanks!!

IMO Black Styling Pack (BSP) works well with Glacier White or Red but I've seen a couple of black Audis recently with BSP (not A3s) and there was just tooooo much black.

I had the same dilemma, I went with sepang blue, SS seats and kept chrome - thought it looked the best. What about white and black pack.....

Thanks for the replys. I do like the white with black convo but also like white with chrome. Problem is my current car is white and I am fed up with cleaning it. I get really OCD with the tiny specs of tar etc that show up so I'm shying away from it now. I like the all blackness but am really taken by the sepang. I just want to see more pics of the blue with chrome to gage a better idea. I think a member called veeight? Posted a couple pics but only rear quarter shots. Is there any more anywhere I can see does anyone know?
 
I assume you've put in Audi S3 Sepang in Google and clicked on Images - seems to be quite a selection there.
 
I have yeah. I can only really find shots of sedans under motors how lights. Seen a couple pics of sport backs and rs3s but not really any hatches. I suppose any orders are mostly under way currently so there's not many out there until they are delivered? Does anyone know if the pics veeight uploaded are of his car or just another. Might be able to ask him for a couple pics if that's the case?
 
I will be uploading some pics of my new S3 in Sepang Blue with chrome surrounds and S-Line wheels tomorrow late afternoon or evening all being well.

Personally think Sepang is more suited to chrome than black.
Got a RS5 ordered in Sepang with chrome grill and surrounds and aluminium pack, changed from black pack, which I thought about for a while.
I think the brightness of Sepang works well with the chrome.
 
Sepang and chrome will look very good. Agree with Craigl - they match well.

Saves some £££'s in the process

@P40ULW has a S1 in sepang blue with chrome and we seen a speang blue S1 with black pack today and the chrome looks 1 million times better IMO like

S3 with the chrome. But you shouldn't go for Sepang though.

I've just ordered my S3 SB in Sepang with the chrome matches the headlights and looks so much better than the black cheaper too!!
 
Thanks for all the replies so far guys, and some great pics!

I do prefer the sepang with chrome definitely, I wouldnt do black with the blue,

My choice is between black with black and sepang with chrome, i just havent seen enough pics of a 3dr sepang with chrome to fully decide yet.

I keep seeing sportbacks and sedans, but no hatches, and on the audi used theres only sepang with black pack.

Im hoping il see some good pics tomorrow so i can make a decision.

I would love to love sepang with chrome as it would allow some extra cash to spend on super sports seats

also it would be a good alternative to the 3x golf Rs i have tried to order since april!!! (they were ordered in lapiz blue)

I am a member on the rforum already and have researched the hell out of the R,

I do prefer the S3 over the R, its just that spec wise the R is more affordable, I have a merc C coupe now that has all the toys you can imagine on so the R was going to be better accommodating to what im already used to, but as i have been messed around by various companies regards to getting an R i have sacrificed a couple of goodies and i am now purchasing the S3 now. Hopefully ordering tomorrow so as not to compromise delivery times.

I got caught up in the 'Golf R Leasegate 2014' fiasco in June, when all the brokers got caught with there pants down. Bastids! I was in Lanazarote when it all went wrong & had to sort out my end via email

I was told by my local VW Dealer that VW cancelled 2800 Golf R orders as a result :(

Fortunately it didn't cost me anything other than my time as I got repaid all my monies

@coddy85 mine is an S1 with the Quattro exterior pack but no BSP pack and @steeve is a S3

I was just trying to highlight how cheap and different the BSP looks on a Sepang blue Audi
 
In just my opinion I think the black pack looks particularly superb with Glacier white but a little dull with the Sepang, which you really don't want!:jump:

Late arrival to the ball here :)

My car is Estoril Blue with Chrome, but seeing as that's now an exclusive colour, it won't help you at all ! I did post some pics way back, and yes, the Chrome against Estoril is lovely.

The most recent pics I posted were of Nogaro, Estoril and a Sepang Blue.

Also noticed that Steeve's SB spitter is colour coded where the pic of the saloon its silver coloured :think:
 
Chrome splitter looks quite nice mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I can't imagine what's going to happen to residuals of Golf R's in 24-30 months, when there is a glut of low-specced Golf R's unloading onto the second hand market :(

audi upgrades
Strange this threads come about just as I have seen only my second S3 on the road and yep it was sepang with chrome, I think it breaks up the darker colour well and it looked good, although the black with some gloss black alloys would look ace I think.
Either way I don't think you can go wrong
 
Jonnyfeng, I obviously misunderstood what you were after with regards to pictures. I see you're after piccies of the 3-door whereas my car is a 5-door. It will still give you an idea though.

I still can't see you on WhatsApp but I'll try and get some uploaded when I get back from the dealer after lunch.
 
Think my next S3 will just have to be Imola Yellow to be different....
